For those wondering, Summer is the first Canadian to win 2 individual golds at an Olympics since Alex Baumann in 1984, also in swimming. She is the first female Canadian to do it.

It is a great meet in general as well, very entertaining  

 

Although it would be fantastic if we can keep results of other sports (especially same-day results which one can realistically expect some people still want to catch up on) out of this thread, it is the swimming thread after all....just like obviously one wouldn't mention swimming results in, say, the rowing thread.
