Final piece of the world championship puzzle:  Aspen will host the world championships for ski and snowboard half pipe, big air and slopestyle.

Henry Sildaru  wins the Junior World Championship in Halfpipe.

 

Pretty sure his dad is there coaching him still, which considering the allegations against him, one has to wonder if he should be allowed to coach, let alone be at a youth event at the moment.

Matej Švancer shines again 

 

After the Youth Olympic gold he won also the Junior world title in a amazing style. still at his 16 !

 

 

+ very nice 5th place for Miki Oravec

Jeez, what a mess  

 

So basically Kelly says her dad/coach physically and mentally abused her and her mom, Kelly's grandmother says Kelly attacked her, brother Henry takes the side of the father, and all sides say it's about the other side trying to get money?

 

That is some messed up family it seems...

Certainly helped that tons of the best guys didn’t even bother to show up. Sadly the results of the junior world championships can’t be taken seriously this year thanks to most nations skipping it.

and the 16 year old czech miracle Švancer won the Big Air as well, 2 golds for him here. this kid is really super talented. May be a threat in the future for sure.

 

 

4th place for Michael Oravec. Very nice result, pity, the medal was not so close, but still nice 4th place.
