Well… a lot.

In curling, :SWE Team Edin, :SUI Team Schwaller and  :SWE Team Hasselborg (and to a lesser extent :JPN Team Fujisawa)

In freestyle skiing, :NOR Birk Ruud

In hockey, :SWE Elias Petterson, :USA JT Miller, :USA Thatcher Demko (all three of my favourite Canucks)

As for Polish players, favourites would have to be Sliwka and Leon (Kaczmarek and Bednorz in 3rd and 4th probably).

In badminton, :DEN Viktor Axelsen and :IND P.V Sindu

In volleyball, :NOR Mol/Sørum, :POL Bryl/Łosiak, :SUI Hüberli/Brunner, :GER Ehlers/Wickler, :BRA Duda (Not a big fan of AP though), :SUI Mader/Verge Depre, :NED Brouwer/Meeuwsen, :QAT Cherif/Ahmed

Not a big list like the others, but I have a few athletes I grew fond of because I watched them live at events in the Netherlands. In Paris I will cheer for:

:POL Volleybal Men team and Bartosz Kurek.

:GRN Javelin thrower Anderson Peters

Other than that I am a big fan of :BEL Nafi Thiam and :FRA Kevin Mayer in the athletics multi events.

    • Serbia- Italy 0-6   I don't know how tjis Serbia can to draw 0-0 with Sweden at home... I have the impression that Sweden plays its best matches against Italy and is weak in the rest? However, 1 place in this group will be difficult to do and we won't avoid a playoff spot for spot on the World Cup. If we're to dream of first place, we absolutely must win in Denmark on Saturday.
    • However it's Antoni Kowalski who becomes the first  player to qualify for the Crucible TV phase after beating  Jamie Jones 10-8 in the last Q round!
    • These stats are ridiculous.  I think ElShorbagy and ElSherbini are still in the Top 10 now.   (By comparison, 15 years is also the time span since Katie Ledecky has lost a 1500m race.)   Source: PSA Facebook
