In freestyle skiing,  Birk Ruud

 

In hockey,  Elias Petterson,  JT Miller,  Thatcher Demko (all three of my favourite Canucks)

 

In volleyball,  Poland’s men’s team (and to a lesser extent  Bulgaria’s men’s team  ), along with  Yuki Ishikawa,  TJ Defalco,  György Grozer,  Isabella Haak,  Tijana Boskovic. As for Polish players, favourites would have to be Sliwka and Leon (Kaczmarek and Bednorz in 3rd and 4th probably).   

 

In badminton,  Viktor Axelsen and  P.V Sindu

Not a big list like the others, but I have a few athletes I grew fond of because I watched them live at events in the Netherlands. In Paris I will cheer for:

 

 Volleybal Men team and Bartosz Kurek.

 

 Javelin thrower Anderson Peters

 

Other than that I am a big fan of  Nafi Thiam and  Kevin Mayer in the athletics multi events.
