What Sports You will Add if Your Country Hosts Olympic Games

Recommended Posts

Inspired by @Makedonas comment & @rafalgorka interesting new topics I have created this thread for fun to suggest 3-5 sports can be added to the program if your country hosting the Olympics

The list of sports federations recognized by IOC as follows:

Sports governed by International Federations recognised by the International Olympic Committee

But feel free to add other sports if you want (would be nice to state if it is not recognised yet)

I’ll start by :GBR and  :EGY

If the game hosted by :GBR (most likely London again)

I’ll add

  1. Billiard
  2. Netball
  3. Squash

If the game hosted by :EGY (Cairo or Alexandria)

I’ll add

  1. Squash
  2. Karate
  3. Finswimming (Part of Underwater Sports)

Easy, Futnet (Football Tennis) & Hokejbal (Ball Hockey) and we return C2 in Canoe Slalom add gazillion of quotas there to have also Team events, add K4-1000m in Canoe Sprint and Foot-Golf while we are at it. Point. :p

But, yeah, even if nothing is certain in this world, Slovakia not hosting the Olympics, Summer, is definitely one thing which absolutely is

If :IND do get to host the games be it 2036/2040 , I would choose

1) Cricket ( if already not  part of core sports by then)

2) Kabaddi

3) Cue Sports

4) Chess

I think olympic program is now too big, so in my opinion is no good to add new sports. Instead, i like to remove someone: skating, artistic swimming, trampoline, breaking are better out of the games.

If i need to choose someting, i think its' better to improve rugby, from 7 to 15. Then, baseball/softball and karate would have to right to compete. No other, please no other
