Do you also talk to clients about life and everything, knowing they can only answer "hmhmmeuuhhmmmmmmhuuu", like my previous dentist used to do?  (who I went to from basically my very first year in life to two years ago when he decided to stop his practice, sadly)

No, I usually keep things pretty silent during the procedures, except for a few info/instructions for the patients. Occasionally I do talk everyday things with my assistant, though, and some patients try to join the conversation

Chemist, currently only lecturing chemistry + preparing students for Chemistry Olympiads. Can't complaint, I enjoy teaching and seeing my students winning Olympic medals brings such a joy!
