I’m told you can get coverage of Belarussian football from many online betting sites.  Snag is I think you have to put money into the account, though.

Which is in no way a problem. It's easy to do at most regular bookmakers and you only need to have a few euros/pounds/whatever in your account usually.

Freak/celebrity MMA gala Fame MMA 6 just ended in Poland (location undisclosed). It seemed like one of the girls in the Main Event was high on drugs. She behaved under influence on entry and lasted three rounds with a busted up nose :p

CHIO Aachen, initially scheduled for early June, got postponed to a later date in 2020. Just as well. The event is usually held in mid-July, but this year was supposed to be an exception to allow nations to use it as the final selection event.

But then again, it's doubtful whether it will be held at all. Certainly not in its usual format with 200k or so spectators...

  • 2 weeks later...

Taiwan's professional Baseball League CPBL should have started a few minutes ago (playing in empty stadiums)...

unfortunately, the opening game has been postponed because of heavy rain...

therefore, it's all delayed to tomorrow (11.05 a.m. CET) at least...

all about CPBL...

p.s. beside the official paid live & VOD streaming service, free online streaming of the league's games is also normally available (check the "online stream" section of the website linked above)...

    • Weightlifting formula is more or less similar to 2020 which was considered terrible by everybody!    this is a tough sport, you can't be in your best shape for too many events. there will be risks of serious injuries this way. with these rules you need 5 good results to qualify. if you bomb out in an event to score a zero you are out of the Olympics unless you replace it with another event. which means most of these poor guys have to participate in 7-8 events (and not just 5) to make up for possible bomb outs.    most importantly if you get injured anytime during this period (almost 2 years) you are out of the Olympics! that's how Sohrab Moradi missed the Tokyo Olympics despite breaking the WR during the qualification period. you can miss the Olympics in 2028 if you get injured late 2026 !  Karlos Nasar couldn't win the Olympic title if we had these rules in 2024   I understand 2024 qualification formula wasn't great either, it had its own flaws but this one is much worse for threatening athletes' health.
    • Marian Kasprzyk (boxing) - 1964 Olympic Champion & 1960 bronze medallist passed away at the age of 86.

    • Off to Milan for the 145th session of the International Olympic Committee. Although the agenda has not been published yet, there shouldn’t be any major items over these two days, apart from the election of a member of the IOC Executive Board. This will be the eighth time the session is held in Italy, the last one being during the Turin 2006 Olympic Games.

    • What is happening in Canada , people leave it  They say life is very expensive , you cant find an appartement , the salary is miserable    is it the multi tax of Trump?
    • Weightlifting We now have six events per gender with a total of 10 athletes per event.   The Olympic Qualification Rankings will be based on the sum of the total results of five events (three from period 1 and two from period 2). The top 8 will qualify.   The 9th spot will also be based on the OQR, but it will go to the highest ranked athlete from an unrepresented continent.   The 10th spot will be split between the host and universality (3 each per gender). Should the United States qualify normally then their host quota will be reduced, first going to an athlete from an unrepresented continent then to the overall highest ranked athlete.   Additionally, a "Best Lifter" will be awarded which would give the nation the chance to qualify 4 athletes rather than the max of 3.
    • The probability of winning a medal in the men's 500m also seems a bit off
