If they are having a hard time, what should we say.  These vaccines have lost all credibility here. People think they are not that effective, are not safe enough and even, if you have it, you are still required to wear masks like before, so they see no point in it. The major turnaround was when the news started coming of healthy people having different complications and the uncertainty stopped many, who had desire to be vaccinated before.

First bit of virus is in my body  

 

Always fun to see a vaccination needle pierce your skin, somehow I find it fascinating. Also, really as good as impossible to feel that needle  

 

As per the instructions I had to sit and wait for 15 minutes, good time to watch a full hour of speed climbing

Not at all, if I was I wouldn't be fascinated by something that'd be entirely normal for me then  

 

Last time any needle went into anywhere was in 2019 (vaccinations to go to Brazil) and before that 2009 (vaccinations to go to Brazil), no worries.

Got my first dose of the vaccine today 

 

The second dose is scheduled for August 4th. So when the nurse told me to wait for 15 mins after my jab and gave me a leaflet to read, I of course was reading a more important document, the Olympic schedule 

 

Thankfully I won’t miss too much action. The individual jumping final in equestrian is on at that time but I can rewind it when I get home if needed. Considering how stressful watching Olympic final in jumping is it might be no harm to just read the updates instead of live viewing

I never had to sit down: just straight back into my truck carrying a load of nitroglycerine to the oil refinery.
