Trying to follow Women’s Euro football, Tour de France, U23 Athletics, Water Polo World champs and Open Water World champs, while also still catching up on 3x3 worlds and Euro Nation Team Athletics.

Busy times indeed.

Not much going on in August on TV but some nice sport events close to my home - Silesia Diamond League and Eurobasket with France and Slovenia playing in Katowice. Should be fun

Today, it was...

Alpine Skiing

Figure Skating

Artistic Gymnastics

Just one race of Swimming out of the corner of my eye as the WC event ended

Sport Climbing

Squash

OCR (Obstacle Course WCh, now under Modern Pentathlon)

American Football (which is probably the only sport most Americans were watching today)

Baseball

And checking on Curling scores, as I don't have access to watch it.

I did also briefly check on some Taekwondo action, but no Americans made it far today.

(No access to Track Cycling, or I'd be watching that.)

    • I think they incorrectly translated Ukrainian word "nahorody" - it is not a full synonym of "medal". Its cocrrect translation is "award". Meanwhile russian tennis playes switched for Potapova ->  Rakhimova ->
    • Ukrainian diver Lyskun switches allegiance to Russia, loses all medals | Olympics News | Al Jazeera   'loses all medals'   I would assume Al Jazeera could have been a bit clearer and mention this would presumably only be national medals. I mean, it's not like the Ukrainian federation, or any single federation for that matter, has the power to strip her of her world and European championships medals I hope (not for her sake, but because that would be a super weird precedent)
