My today schedule, mostly in background meanwhile I'm studying 

 

  • 10:00-11:15 — Water polo women's WCh ITA-CHH on Rai Sport
  • 15:00-19:00 — Equestrian European championship day 2 on SVT
  • 15:30-16:45 — Lacrosse European Champions ITA-GER on LaxTV (Youtube)

Trying to follow Women’s Euro football, Tour de France, U23 Athletics, Water Polo World champs and Open Water World champs, while also still catching up on 3x3 worlds and Euro Nation Team Athletics.

Swimming WCH, F1 in Spa and TdF in Paris with some Montmartre climbs. :d

Not much going on in August on TV but some nice sport events close to my home - Silesia Diamond League and Eurobasket with France and Slovenia playing in Katowice. Should be fun

Today, it was...

Alpine Skiing

Figure Skating

Artistic Gymnastics

Just one race of Swimming out of the corner of my eye as the WC event ended

Sport Climbing

Squash

OCR (Obstacle Course WCh, now under Modern Pentathlon)

American Football (which is probably the only sport most Americans were watching today)

Baseball

And checking on Curling scores, as I don't have access to watch it.

 

I did also briefly check on some Taekwondo action, but no Americans made it far today.

 

(No access to Track Cycling, or I'd be watching that.)

    • The Technical director of the Dutch Olympic Committee has, using his discretionary powers, decided to include them in the team. He cites “extra-ordinary circumstances”, but has not stated what they are. The use of these powers is quite rare. They were used in 2022 to nominate an alpine-skier.
