Only if Gernany or France wins it (which I know it's the more probable case :p), Portugal has NEVER won any competition!

We are in the final only for the second time in history, so the whole country is celebrating as if we had won the Euro!!!! :clap:

Congratulations by the way, at least I'm happy our big enemy reached the final by at least winning one game :d

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

People here were actually cheering for a draw, just to annoy everyone in Europe even more hahaha

Curious fact: Fernando Santos (our coach) back at the beginning of the tournament, after the first two draws in the group phase, said "I'll only return to Portugal on July 11." And, with Portugal having 2 points after 2 games played, everyone laughed "This guy is crazy!". Well, apparently he was right!!!!

Oh, the amazing 2004 edition! I'll hope that now it's your turn

Yes, "amazing" haha

The nation stopped during the game, I went to see the game with lots of people on those giant screens to celebrate (everyone thought "it's Greece, we can do it!"), and then...

Ronaldo was very young back then, I remember him crying

If there is a god, then Platini will go to jail for all of this. First we eliminate Italy, then we get an italian referee in the next match against the host, then we completely dominate the host and then the referee decides to manipulate the game. Its sad enough that we dominate the second best team of the tournament without 5 or 6 of our best players, but i cant believe that no one tells this clown Platini to f**k off.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

    • it looks that earlier Today the  crew of Ineos Britannia made the decisive break and now they're just 1 win away from the Louis Vuitton Cup and the chance to face Team Emirates New Zealand for the America's Cup   in Today's 2 races, for the first time there was no share of victories between the  and  crews, instead the  guys were simply better than the Italians, who made a capital mistake in the choice of the jib in the 1st race and just lost the start battle (and therefore the race) in the 2nd head-to-head   now Ineos Britannia leads the best-of-13 series by a score of 6-4

    • preliminary entry list for the World Championships (non-Olympic weights) 2024   https://uww.org/article/world-championships-non-olympic-weights-2024-entries   Abdulrashid Sadulaev won the Russian trials yesterday (he didn't look good though) and therefore his name is here, as well as another Olympic Champion Zaur Uguev. with David Taylor, Jordan Burroughs and Reza Geraei we have at least 5 Olympic Champions in the list    also interesting to see lots of guys (Berdimuratov, Ganbaatar, Tsakulov, Kaipanov etc) cut weight massively from their usual Olympic weight to wrestle here.  which shows the importance of a World Championship title    ps: 2024 Olympians are not allowed to wrestle here.
    • I genuinely wonder if ski mountaineering is honestly more popular in terms of audience. Cyclocross quite certainly isn't   Although I believe the season is about to start, so Belgian TV will be busy making it look big again
    • Nordic Combined isnt a big loss. A widely umpopular sport consisting of mixing more popular sports that doesnt really hook anyone.   I rather had his quotas go to SkiMo or Cyclocross, to be completely honest
    • Is it confirmed or are FIS and other stakeholders just in talks???
    • Yet I'm still looking forward to it, it's been way too long as always
