Egypt won quota of men's 50m rifle from 3 positions

Looks like men's skeet quota may be unused. Only the two Egyptians stand a chance of going over 114, but there are no guarantees.

 

In the women's skeet, meawhile, Ibtissam Marirhi could be the only one above MQS. And just for a comedy relief - the other Marirhi shot 5/75 targets today.

I think you have to achieve MQS in the competition you are winning the quota.

 

achieving MQS in other competitions is only useful for shooters who want to start in another event.

 

A quota place can only be obtained if the result achieved by the athlete or Mixed Team in the qualifying competition where the quota is obtained is equal to or higher than the MQS for that event.

They still have to achieve MQS at this event to be given a quota.

thanks for making it clear , hopefully they'll not miss more than 4 targets tomorrow , but i doubt it
