The what?

Basically a professional circuit for swimmers. FINA is threatening to issue 1-2 year bans for athletes that compete. So far a lot of high level athletes have signed up though.

Here's the current list of athletes.

Cool :d

Who knows, maybe swimming can finally become a sport that's not only visible during major championships.

That's fine but they should also go harder against arab countries regarding Israel.

They should simply have a rather simple rule: no events to any nations that can't or won't guarantee athletes from every single member nation can participate under their own flag.

The government of Spain has given assurances to the IOC that athletes from Kosovo can compete under their own flag in competitions hosted by Spain.

Probabily one of the wrost governament of the italian history...

(ANSA) - Rome, November 15 - Giovanni Malagò, the head of Italian Olympic Committee CONI, on Thursday blasted a reform of Italian sport contained in the government's draft budget package. "This is not a reform of Italian sport, it has nothing to do with that," Malagò said.
"This discourse is an elegant way to occupy the Italian Olympic Committee". The reform features the creation of a new body to manage sporting activities called 'Sport e Salute' (Sport and Health) to replace the Coni Servizi agency.
"Today there is a precise and very strong political will to transform the most prestigious Olympic committee in the world, turning it into the worst Olympic committee in the world," he continued.
"This is certain, certified, mathematical. I know this subject perfectly - no Olympic committee in the world only handles Olympic preparation". The government said it does not intend to change course.

POLITICS ALERT!!! ⚠️⚠️⚠️

Taiwan is due to vote on Saturday, November 24, on whether the island should compete as "Taiwan" and not "Chinese Taipei".

IOC warns Taiwan name-change could cost country right to compete at Tokyo 2020.

Politics and sports is like a dirty martini. Olives and olive juice should not be mixed with alcohol, but it still exist anyway. :stop:
