A ban on Kuwait has been lifted by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in time for them to compete under their own flag at the Asian Games, due to open here in the Indonesian capital on Saturday.

The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) announced today the suspension had been lifted following a meeting today of the IOC's ruling Executive Board.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has confirmed German-based financial services company Allianz will become a member of its top-tier The Olympic Partner (TOP) sponsorship scheme in an eight-year deal starting in 2021.

Burundi's Lydia Nsekera has become the third confirmed candidate for the Presidency of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA). Nsekera is actually an IOC and FIFA Council member
