Dutch NOS can make streams available all they want, as long as Eurosport's streams can be paused and watched later (or watched on-demand entirely) and NOS' streams can't even be paused, Eurosport wins by far :p

Plus NOS on TV often sucks rather bad anyway, since they spend so much time talking about sports, they often forget to actually show sports....no Dutchman competing (other than the 100m final)? Ok, then it's not interesting....apparently.

That is almost what the BBC does, talk talk talk talk and some fluff then some sports action, then talk talk talk

With Athletics this is coming to the point of not watching with their analysis of the analysis, over analysis while there are field events and they don't even bother to cover while talking and talking and talk again

We will see if this time with their 'limited' broadcast (of 350 hours totally) if they focus showing SPORTING ACTION or waste time with their talking

Does anyone know if the Olympics are being broadcast on the Eurosport player in Ireland? @dodge

Discovery Plus app AFAIK. Not 100% on that but they’re certainly pushing that

By looking all these broadcasters, i am sure that IOC wont allow any live  streams on their website or YT.

Which is rather sad because in 2012 there was a YT stream, at least for those underdeveloped countries.

Plus, even 9 years after London, every event is available in full on demand.

Rio was worse in that sense, only finals are available, but not on YT.

What will Tokyo be like...

Hard to tell, but at least for us on Totallympics I think it'd be great to share our streams and such (the legal ones) so we can get as much of a full picture of what we can watch as possible.

Thats what i was hoping for.

Here in Montenegro we can watch only few sports. Team sports in which Montenegro participate in, finals of other team sports, athletics, swimming, maybe artistic gymnastics and thats it.

But what about us who also follow less popular sports? I have never watched live modern penthatlon, taekwondo, archery, equestrian, wrestling at OG.

They just dont think on us.

So, Totallympics is my only option.

Will Eurosport's website not be showing them?

As now we come across the world
To share these Games of old
Let all the flags of every land
In brotherhood unfold

    • Oops. I must have misunderstood. I could have sworn I saw her jogging in a field of other men. I assumed she had caught up to some of the slower men. (I admittedly wasn't watching closely.)
    • The women started earlier, it was a race without any men participating.
    • Looking forward to this competition starting tomorrow! Will be nice to see some other countries participate. USA women start with Namibia tomorrow.
    • This came out on the official website yesterday. Updated list of events and competition schedules in Japanese.   Padel and Teqball are on the schedules. Looks like two events for Padel and five for Teqball.   https://www.aichi-nagoya2026.org/files/common/260427競技スケジュール/01_日本語/01_アジア/第20回アジア競技大会競技プログラム.pdf   https://www.aichi-nagoya2026.org/files/common/260427競技スケジュール/01_日本語/01_アジア/第20回アジア競技大会デイリースケジュール.pdf   https://www.aichi-nagoya2026.org/files/common/260427競技スケジュール/01_日本語/01_アジア/第20回アジア競技大会セッションスケジュール.pdf   On the sports programme PDF, Padel is #25 and Teqball is #38.
    • looks like the agreement is the international federations are in fact hosting the event, not the AG organizers, so everything is up to them to make it happen.   Teqball is now confirmed to have 5 events (singles and doubles) does it mean easy 5 gold medals for Thailand ?   Padel is not 100% confirmed yet. I assume there are still talks ongoing between the IF and the Japanese organizers.
    • I feel like this year's Eurovision is more wide open than ever 😂   There isn't a clear favorite, and that makes everything more exciting. Finland is looking strong, sure, but Ukraine always knows how to surprise people and connect with them. I was checking out the odds a bit, and I was struck by how quickly they're rising.   By the way, I found a site that compares the odds pretty clearly: https://casasdeapuestaseurovision.com/   It’s nothing special, but it gives you an idea of how things are shaping up before the semifinals. Although we all know how this goes… at Eurovision, everything can change in a matter of minutes
