Why? Shouldn't Japan get that place to fill the C2?

I have convinced myself that the host quota doesn't count in the reallocation, because it's not won by an athlete. But yeah, I guess that situation isn't clear either. They really should have specified how the "boat filling" actually works.

so :SVK won 2 medals in Szeged, 2 Bronzes and in both M K4 events !

Great to see we are still capable so many years, decades now to be competitive in  the most important and historically the most successful events of Slovak canoeing sprint.

Very disappointing results for Germany, there is no Other way to put it. Unless Brendel and the mens C2 geht back into shape, 3 Golds could be the best realistically possible result in Tokyo. Womens Canoe and womens kayak are in a horrible state.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

The :GER - :HUN domination is definitely over. It's great for the sport just not too tasty to swallow. :dunno:

:CAN has a difficult decision to make in men's canoe if both boats qualify. C2 broke the national record here (time wise), while Oldershaw had a disappointing  result here, he is a former Olympic medalist. Who do you pick!?

I believe host quota doesn't count for reallocation. And well Borowska wrote she's qualified on her Facebook. I hope she knows best.

I am unashamed, at getting nothing done.

I don't understand the qualification in this event, haha. Why would Canada need to choose between the two?

Or some of our athletes that thought they're going to Doha for sure.

I never bieleve athletes in such a thing, only official statements. Especially when rules are so... complicated.

    • Another weak result for our athletics team, which is typical; without Caio or Alisson, our chances of a medal in any high-level tournament are almost zero.   However, Juliana's result in the women's pole vault was a great 7th place. She is improving rapidly and still has a lot of room for growth.

    • Medalists Gold-  Team Schwaller (Xenia Schwaller, Selina Gafner, Fabienne Rieder, Selina Rychiger) Silver-  Team Einarson (Kerri Einarson, Val Sweeting, Shannon Birchard, Karlee Burgess, Krysten Karwacki) Bronze-  Team Wråna (Isabella Wråna, Almida de Val, Maria Larsson, Linda Stenlund, Moa Dryburgh)
    • some changes in the team and less importance to the sport, the two big teams until 2022/2023 ( and ) in south america started to decrease a lot and in the other hand the 3rd in South America () is growing a lot, is really impressive. We are currently the favourites for the LA2028 quota
    • Last few weeks of the World Cup season for winter sports (and Junior Worlds, depending on streaming), Men's Curling Worlds, Saquarema Elite 16, and some tennis   That's it unless I'm missing something, not much going on    Which is a good thing honestly, very busy next couple of weeks.
    • What happened to Brazil's women's team? On the other hand it looks like Argentina may be the top South American team on the women's side. Defeating Spain, China and South Africa was unlikely up until this year
    • These are the teams I think will qualify for the WC this window:           Hoping for some debutants to qualify!
    • defeats  7-5 for gold, Schwaller goes from junior world champions to world champions only two years later   win bronze 8-5 over
    • Honestly, it’s not very clear what is happening in Italy — anything could happen. There is extremely high turnout, and no pollster, politician, or newspaper had predicted it; now they’re all there throwing out data. No one has any idea why people voted, also because it was very technical and almost empty polling stations were expected. It will be interesting to understand whether this is a protest vote against the government or a protest vote against the judiciary.
