0 in speed skating. Snowboard is very small if nothing.

Do we have any chances for more quotas? I know nothing about winter sports. I think we currently have 2 in alpine skiing (1M, 1W) and 3 in cross-country skiing (1M, 2W) although I could be mistaken.

We had 7 athletes in both Vancouver and Sochi, and only 4 in Pyeongchang, so at least we improved from 2018. Our largest team was Nagano 1998 where we had 13 athletes in six different sports (alpine skiing, biathlon, bobsleigh, cross-country skiing, luge, snowboarding).

In 2014 we competed in sports like skeleton and ski jumping, up until 2010 we always had biathlon too. Now it looks like it might be the second Olympics in a row with only the two sports (alpine skiing and cross-country skiing).

To be honest it is hard for me to get interested in the Winter Olympics when my country doesn't have any realistic medal hopes, although I sometimes enjoy watching ice hockey and curling (obviously watching other countries).

Your numbers are correct! As far as I know, Greece doesn't have any more chances of getting quotas unfortunately.

I think the lost quota might be from speed skating. I remember you guys had a 3rd skater that was in qualifying position for a period of time.

True, I completely forgot. We had 2 junior skaters at quali spots in mass start. One girl and one boy. Unfortunately, both dropped below the line after Calgary. Thanks a lot. The statistics is amazing .... P.S. Merry Xmas 🎄🎄

Because he’s Hubertus and hope dies last, but he’s far from reaching the minimum points to qualify.

The one in doubt was SOTO, since there’s another skier that has under 300 distance points, but in the later’s case is mostly in roller ski competitions in Japan, so I guess the nomination will go to Soto, as he has consistently been under 300 in snow proper.

After one day of accepting and rejecting quotas, these should be the team sizes of some of the smaller winter countries that have accepted their quotas + Hungary.
