It's somehow disappointing when u make a great race and then u realize that it was just enough for equalizing WR not breaking it,  something like losing the gold for. 01 seconds in Athletics

It's not broadcast free to air. It's on Pay TV.

OK, I read an article a few days before the Champs started and the pay-tv was not even mentioned (as if for the Australians didn't exist)...it was only about everybody complaining for the FTA coverage missing...

 

probably it's because swimming is so popular there that they always expect to watch the big events on FTA channels...
