By the way, Saudi Arabia in group A, Iran in group B....who is going to chicken out if one wins the group and the other finished 2nd and they have to play each other in the first KO round? :banana:

Saudi and Iranian clubs play each other regularly, no big deal. but seriously you think is that possible any of those teams can win the group ?! :d

 

btw even before the political tension there were hatred between Iran and Saudi in football . much more than simple rivalry. this is funny the last time we played them was in 2009 when they beat Iran in Azadi stadium (the first Asian team to beat Iran in packed home stadium). since then the draw kept both teams separated.

Ekaterinburg stadium in Russia will host some matches of the WC , for the first time you will see the tribunes outside the stadium :d

    • Just noticed that  Sweden rejected a late quota in men's ski cross. There is no one left to reallocate the quota to so men's ski cross will only have 31 athletes entered.   Who would've thought before the games began that women's ski cross would use all 32 quotas and men's ski cross wouldn't.
    • This was pure bullshit, our federation already appealed protest. It would be better our guys would not jump in second round.    The only good thing is Japan won.
