Monzanator 4,499 Posted November 28, 2022 #3181 Share Posted November 28, 2022 Alright, so Ghana has a perfect chance for 2010 payback to end the Suarez & Cavani chapter at World Cup level (I assume they won't be back in four years time). Meanwhile Danny Makkelie has been chosen as the referee for Argentina vs Poland. Party like it's 1978 @heywoodu Mexico & Uruguay might still score , not sure about Tunisia. But if they do score all 32 teams would have scored at least 1 goal in this world cup. Has that ever happened before in a 32 team WC? Also we just lost 2 teams (one being Qatar) & 3 have secured qualifications, still 27 teams has a mathematical chance for qualification. konig

Usually there is a rule, that the referee has to be from a different confederation then the two teams, unless both teams are from the same confederation. Guess they have made an exception this time, as it is an important match and don't want to risk with an African/Asian refs
