Julian Schuetter who was stopped by the jury during his race after Roea horrible injury, is returning back to the start in a helicopter :d

by the way, very good day at the office for the Italian speed specialists...

 

another win for Queen Sofia (beating her demons on the track that last year cost her at least 1 Olympic Gold medal...and a knee) :champion:  :bowdown:

 

and finally a breakthrough podium finish for Florian Schieder (who was one of our best youngsters, but blew his chances with a few injuries until now) and a very good race (it would have been a podium, under normal circumstances) by Paris among the boys.

Odermatt and Kilde both lived very dangerously today. Both could have ended up with serious injury were it not for their amazing saves. Sadly it looks like another Norwegian (Henrik Roea) picked up one, just a few meters from the finish line. It looked like a serious one too. The way it flipped him over at that speed you just knew something was wrong.
