he would have been the main show of the last day of the championships...

 

now the Germans might get a 1-2 in the race, if Auboeck doesn't perform at his best...I don't see the Italians having anything left in the tank to be among the main contenders...

 

more news...Florian Wellbrock pulled out from the Open Water Swimming races, he said he's too tired and not very well trained after the covid issues he had to face after the world champs...

Nah! Juraszek did finish on 4th place, he missed medal just by 0,3 seconds  Anyway still very good result for him and I'm proud that country without big traditions in swimming had a finalists in both men's and women's 50m freestyle in European level

All I can say is that she's amazing 

 

Hopefully continues at least till Paris, but I will always cherish this comeback even if she decides to pursue her studies without competitive swimming.

Brilliant Italia making an US/Russia like sweep at the Championships  Hopefully they can continue the trajectory and become a regular threat to the super powers US, Australia, GB and China.
