Yeah, I believe at the Olympics IOC members get first choice of which events where they can hand out medals, so they always pick one where a national hero is favoutite.

Only 4th swimmer after Ledecky, Titmus and Pellegrini to break the 4 minute at only 15yo. Crazy.

 

This was the last gold for Ledecky in the 400 on a major meet. Titmus and McIntosh gonna dominate this race in the next years.

Our men's relay can't catch a break. If Kisil wasn't injured I would think Canada would have won a medal here. RIP
