Argentina World Champions after an exhausting 10 innings-long battle!!

Now we have to win the pan am games and also develop the women's team in long term.

So I was late to find out that our team finished 3rd (!!) in the same tournament. Wow. Crazy that we made a podium in this sport. :woohoo:

      Back in the 1970s, in the USA, it was called “Modern Rhythmic Gymnastics”   Coming back to edit this, since the sport was miniscule in the USA at that time, it’s probably how the FIG referred to it as well.

      Although she did win bronze, I would add 1972 OG - Janet Lynn 4th in figures, 1st in FS.  Trixi Schuba,  1st in figures, 7th in FS.   And another one to add - 1984 Brian Orser  7-1-1.  Scott Hamilton 1-2-2.
