It would be good if FIL keeps their backs straight and just says "ok, bye" to refusing athletes. I know, not likely to happen, but still.

in a world without double standards they should ban those athletes (for 10 years) and countries (for 4 years) instead of just saying "Ok, bye"

but unfortunately we don't live in such a world.

Russian & Belarussian players are banned from Wimbledon.

Obviously Russians competing for Kazakhstan (Rybakina, Putintseva) will be allowed to take part.

What’s the betting CAS makes a rapid decision if Russian and Belarusian tennis players go to court.

    • It comes down to what is taught in Poland about the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. The Union of Lublin isn't shown as unfavorable for Lithuania as it really was. A lot of the southern territories of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania was "given" to Poland but it was actually stolen by Poles, the Polish language overpowered the Lithuanian one among the elites, the common coin was Polish-based. At one point, the PLC starts to get treated like one big country, with Vilnus as one of the major cities of Poland. The Vilnius University shown as an important Polish university, Mickiewicz calling Lithuania his home while writing in Polish, etc. The whole stuff after the World War One is barely touched in the high school when barely anyone cares about history anyway, I guess most people don't even know it. With this lack of the knowledge, Vilnus is one of the lost Polish cities, just like Lviv. The current animosities are down to the early 2010s and Grybauskaitė being the president of Lithuania - when there was the increase of the Lithuanian subjects taught in the Polish schools, troubles with Polish surnames, places' and streets' names. The Polish hooligans were also quick to pick it up. To be honest, Lithuania isn't looked down at but people don't understand why Lithuania has the right not to like Poland.
    • Maciusiak is a budget option for the 'lean years' that are set to kick in. This was planned for many years once Stoch, Kubacki & Żyła retire (or become too old to have good results). We don't have any juniors and the development has been screwed for many seasons now. Results should get even worse especially if Wąsek suddenly drops off w/o Thurnbichler (as he was the only one who clearly profited under TT's coaching).

    • Matt Denny threw 68.17,possibly not what he was looking for his final meet before ramona, but we'll see how that goes.
    • Lachlan Kennedy had a huge pb to beat gout gout over  200 meters at the maurie plant meet .
    • Sory  my mistake "99% has no problems" should be.  Apologize for this mistake. Nobody in Poland even talk about this kind of issue.
    • I have no clue who these ''99'' procent are and it's actually this annoying  superiorioty complex attitude that actually gets poles disliked here.Vilnius is OUR CAPITAL,it has been so forever, poland has no basis to have it,the fact we were once in a commenwealth does not mean you just get to declare another city yours.i don't know how you wrote this comment and expected me to have a good reacton to it.
    • Italy's bad luck again. We can't break through this season - even if we achieve some success, a slip-up comes in a moment and it's like that all the time. Today could have been gold for us if the American hadn't cut Moiola. This season is like that, let it finally end and let the next one be better for us - and above all less unlucky. We have 15x 4/5 places this winter season, with only 14 podiums and that's unlucky.
    • Dorival Junior has been fired as NT manager. No surprise. The 'Vinicius era' team is probably even worse than 'Neymar era' team
