Monzanator 3,612 Posted September 30, 2019 #2001 Share Posted September 30, 2019 Maria Andrejczyk said the javelin simply died in the air and there was nothing wrong with her technique to explain the poor distance. She said other girls looked good in the throwing process too but the javelin just didn't carry on.
phelps 6,990 Posted September 30, 2019 #2002 Share Posted September 30, 2019 just watched Jon Ridgeon, iaaf's CEO, reaching the highest levels ever seen in the not so new discipline "mirror climbing" in an interview on the BBC... I know he has to defend his (and his buddies) choices, but frankly he was just pathetic while trying to find any sort of excuse to justify this championship being held in Qatar (and the future even more controversial places they're going to visit sooner or later) and the new mixed 4*400m relay... and there are still a lot of people around the world asking why athletics is dying and losing appeal year after year?... Was there some camel race national league final scheduled today what would steal the attention of domestic viewers ? To be fair, Tokyo's schedule is heavily influenced by the expected inhumane weather conditions. Those Games should have always been planned for October. #banbestmen
