Your own Winter Olympic Games Beijing 2022 Schedule

Due to my location and work schedule, I can get around the first 5 hours and the last 2-3 hours of each day.

I won't watch anything on Day -2 since Canada isn't participating, but Day -1 I get to watch curling, ice hockey and the tail end of the freestyle moguls and maybe some more curling.

For me the biggest challenge is how to coordinate watching Short track speed skating (only sport :HUN ians are competitive in), ski jumping and luge (and when its over bobsleigh). Several days 2 or 3 of them begin around 12.00-12.30 European continental time

Otherwise quite manageable as most of snowboard & freestyle ski is at night/early morning European time anyway, so I will watch it from ES player or cable TV re-watch menu (same is for those bob&skeleton races which are during the night)

I'm taking two weeks off at work to watch WOG. I should watch most action except maybe sports I don't really enjoy or understand the scoring system (half-pipe, big air & slopestyle being prime candidates). Bobsleigh is traditionally in last place among "established" winter sports for me :p

I will start day -2 with curling of course.

Further day will be easy: wake up about 8-9 am (CET) to watch biathlon/cross-country live after that it is time for ski-jumping/short-track/luge evening session.

After it is time for on-demand replays of the early action alpine ski/snowboard whatever. And some curling matches. Maybe hockey.

"Luckily" - I have only part-time job, so most of days free.

Basically the same program as for Tokyo. But more easy to follow.

My schedule is roughly the same as the full official schedule... :p

Possibly with a bit of a delay for the night events. Free from work for the whole thing, so that's good, but you know...probably gotta provide some care, so not sure if waking up at 02:00 and going to sleep at 19:00 every day is going to be such a good idea :d

Wednesday is my day off, and the matches are all at the very reasonable British time of 12:05pm, and I have nothing else to do. So I will watch Great Britain vs Sweden, with other games on a different screen, I will probably watch China vs Switzerland in the background.

As now we come across the world
To share these Games of old
Let all the flags of every land
In brotherhood unfold

The same as with Tokio Games, I am the lazy one. :d Will start watching all the goods with a delay from 7am CET, and will probably be able to catch live broadcast till noon. Unless, there is some important event for our athletes, then will watch it on time.

    • Yes, he is ones of the first supporters of Milei, owner of one of the most important stock market of Argentina (Bull market), he was peronist and for "unknown reasons" start to be libertarian.   Even being libertarian in my case, i have to admit that him is one of the dumbest of "Milei supporters" and a clown when  he is in TV, he made me feel  embarrassed in many occasions.   Camila Giorgi being with him is.......inconceivable.
    • Ya but the replacement is Pat Bondi, a choice that is only better in so far as Pat Bondi isn't credibly accused of having had sex with multiple underaged girls.   Also, you might recognize this name: Pete Hoekstra has been nominated to be the US ambasador to Canada.
    • Camila Giorgi has a new BF Ramiro Marra. Apparently he's some politician/journalist from Argentina. One of Milei's supporters dare I say? @LDOG@konig
    • Skeleton Tour moves on to Yanqing  this weekend.  Asian Cup races tomorrow, then the World Cup on Saturday, and then possibly more Asian Cup next weekend before everyone moves over to Altenberg for the start of the full Skeleton / Bobsleigh tour again.
    • 2-1.   But it's good to have a great champion in the squad. I've been waiting for this my whole life. I wish we had such stars in every sport.
    • But he beat Mouat, who seems to be almost unbeatable
    • Argentina has a really solid lineup, especially if they have prepared seriously for this event. Of course they don't have a champion like we do, but in this format it is enough to win 1 match to play the decisive doubles.
    • Today we must to beat Argentina. It looks like Sinner will have to win all the singles and doubles for us to defend the title. So far, the 2nd and 3rd favorites before the tournament have already been eliminated: Esp and USA.
