Poland improves to 1-3-0 in the medals but nobody expected half of them would come in race walking :lol:

The depth in women's race walk is quite shallow so I'm not quite surprised.

 

Maybe it's from my high school days, but I would love to see a race walk "sprint" of 2km be held one day

Unlike the longer distances I didn't think the "magic" shoes used in the sprints were particularly helpful. Maybe sometime soon we'll find out that there is instead a new undetectable performance enhancer.
