Too small compared to the men's event. It makes for a different discipline.

Either lower the men's or raise the women's, so to give the events at least some resemblance.

There was an interview with Grażyna Rabsztyn lately and she said there was an idea to raise the women's hurdles in the 80s already but it proved unpopular and was quickly abandoned. She said she wanted the higher hurdles for women and the ideal height would be 91 cm (they are 84 cm now). She also run some races at the men's hurdles (106 cm). She also said at 1.75 m she was too tall for the event herself (which didn't stop her from setting WR though which is still Polish NR).

1.90m will be already selective height in womens high jump, seriously? :nopompom:

What are the chances that these massive level drops in many events are the first indications of post-pandemic effects on athletes that had to adapt/train less or in worse conditions for a couple of seasons?

It's as if this meet is the first ever for starters in Munich.

So many weird calls, the highlight of all of course being the Norwegian runner yesterday allowed to start despite a false start that couldn't have been more obvious. Someone stepped in later and DQ'd her. Absolutely ridiculous thing to happen at this level.
