Dolby 712 Posted April 12 #61 Share Posted April 12 5 hours ago, Josh said: Kevin Lee/Ty Lindeman were the #2 seeds in men’s doubles (1,800 points back of an Olympic quota, and a tournament win plus a semifinal finish for Dong/Yakura would’ve been enough to overtake them I’m pretty sure), and bowed out during the round of 16. So no, not all of our top players are still alive. It was always Lee/Lindeman or Dong/Yakura. There was no chance of both qualifying and almost no chance of neither qualifying as well. Edit: Because according to that, Lindeman/Lee have qualified for the Olympics as of today, but I don’t see any posts on Badminton Canada’s Instagram announcing that. Dong/Yakura has sealed their places together with Chiu/Yuan by reaching semifinal of Pan Am Champs

France won’t double up in men’s singles and doubles. The Popov brothers lost early at the European Championships, which means that Corvee/Labar have secured their spot on the French team.
