    Possibly as when doing my counthrough of eligible universality quotas based on athletes from the rankings I found that the Men's 50m could go unused if ISSF are following 1 universality spot per country. If so then Llewellin would be top of the list for a reallocation, butf I'd say it's highly unlikely.

    Completely missed this from a few days ago. We have the venues for the 2026 World Baseball Classic! Only one East Asian host this time . Hopefully this means more balanced pools.

    Another update. My dad is still in the hospital recovering. He’s been there for about a month and a half so far. He’s doing much better than before, but still a while before he’ll be ready to come home. He has his good days and bad days, luckily it’s more good than bad. Actually, recently he’s made major strides in his recovery, he’s now walking, eating (soft) foods, and just a couple of days ago washed his body for the first time. I also visited him at the hospital for the first time since he got admitted (I’ve been quite busy, obviously I’ve been chatting with him on FaceTime), and while I was happy to see him, it just made me incredibly sad, I really really hate seeing him like this. I also don’t like hospitals in general though lol, have some bad memories from them. I will also point out that he does get exhausted after 10 minutes or so, so the visiting didn’t last long.

    In Australia's defense it makes more sense to have a minimum athlete participation of two for Oceania since they only have one quota while the other continents get two. Regardless, the rules were quite clear, just like in canoeing a minimum number of athletes must participate in the qualifier in order to avoid free quotas being awarded.

Rachelle Brown will also now be a permanent team member. Not really happy about the first two updates… I like Homan but with a partner like Bottcher I can’t root for them. Can’t believe I’m saying this but hopefully they have a really disappointing 2024-25 season that’ll make them rethink the first part of the update…
