Will Denmark ever decide? As the final meeting of the Danish jury has started, reports state that no agreement is in sight. Though most jury members came smiling to the meeting, several unnamed members have told other unnamed people that things aren't going well between the members. The growing jury of more or less identical persons have never really seemed to be able to work together, but somehow still manage to find a solution, participating in all editions of the Song Contes and even more impressively leading the committee of countries voting for the winner every single time, making people speculate on whether the Danish jury members are actually controlling the entire contest. It is also still speculated whether the growing number of members are identical twins, clones or just the same person working under different personas. Everything about the jury chaired by "Agger" is questionable, but right now there are nothing to do but wait and see if he/they can decide ...2 points -

If it's only the 2nd season of a competition, chances are rather high that some teams will be qualifying for the quarterfinals for the 1st time1 point -
Myrkur - Ulvinde Lyrics: Ja med ondt skal ondt fordrives I en svunden krop Buret inde som et dyr de lukker aldrig op Fanget i en dårekiste, drypper af mit blod Mørkets trofaste lakajer lænket til min fod Norge Norge Norge Solen er gået bort I nattens regn og vind Min barndoms tunge port Låst i mit kolde sind Langt ned i de dybe dale Der spejler sig i søen Det er her at jeg vil leve, det er her at jeg vil dø Under flodens askegrene finder jeg min sjæl Skyggerne forstenes, lyset slår dem jo ihjel Norge Norge Norge English: Yes, by evil, evil must be fought in a bygone body Caged like an animal, they never open up Caught in a madhouse, dripping my blood The loyal lackeys of the darknes, chained to my foot Norway Norway Norway The sun has gone away In the rain and wind of the night The heavy gate of my childhood Locked in my cold mind Far down the deep valleys mirroring in the lake This is where I wanna live, this is where I wanna die Under the ash branches of the river I find my soul The shadows are being petrified, the light is killing them Norway Norway Norway1 point

Can't we just ignore this freestyle part? Don't mention it here, not during the Olympics and simply never speak any word about it like it never existed in an Olympic format in the first place?1 point

No solution in sight? After about 2½ hours of meeting, the Danish jury still haven't found any solution and will therefore take a lunch break. Chairman of the jury, Agger, was seen leaving the meeting room angry walking towards the cafeteria, while none of the other jury members have left the room most likely meaning that either they are trying to find a solution without him, maybe even meaning a coup or that he is indeed the only member of the jury. We will keep on following the situation!1 point

Tina Maze won her first downhill in st moritz I think in 2008 with bib 47. 3rd place was lara gut who also had a bib around 40 who got her first world cup podium back then and even would have won if she hadn't crashed on the finshing streight falling over the finish line1 point -

the Val Gardena Downhill has a long history of winners started with very high numbers... Markus Foser in 1993 won with #66 (ahead of Werner Franz, AUT with #52), Max Rauffer (GER) in 2004 won with #46... and they're not the only ones...1 point -

I think I remember reading about a downhill in the mid 1980s where the TV company broadcasting the race switched off their cameras after bib 40 (or about that) went down and missed one of the low ranked Austrians win the race. Maybe Morzine in 1986?1 point -

Netherlands Kensington - Bridges Yet another unstable weekend We bought our own praise with easy goals And we’re off to sell it as the greatest story told Yet another ungraceful evening Another man’s faith An easy foe And we’re off to shiver in the face of the unknown Though we long together for the tables to turn Though we pray together for the bridges to burn Still we stay cold Yet another ungrateful weekday We’re caught in a game where the winner takes all And we’re off to tell it as the greatest story told Though we long together for the tables to turn Though we pray together for the bridges to burn Still we stay cold We got carried away by it We got carried away from home We got carried away by it We got carried away from home1 point

Well, I thought that I should get sentimental, since it's the 10th edition of TISC, let's enter it the way that we started it, with a song in Lithuanian language by Saulės Kliošas LITHUANIA Saulės Kliošas - Įkvėpk ir Nepaleisk (Breathe In and Don't Let Go) Šviesiam liūdesy / In a sadness that's bright Įkvėpus giliai, bandysiu Tave paleisti / With a deep breath, I'll try to let you go Kaip viską pamiršt / How to forget everything Nenoriu labai atrodyt silpnai, man gaila / I really don't want to look weak, what a pity Aš žinau, aš žinau, aš žinau / Oh I know, oh I know, oh I know Vistiek tavim tikiu / I still believe in you Aš žinau, aš žinau, nežinai / Oh I know, oh I know, you don't know Tavęs niekad nepamiršiu / That I will never forget you Oh oh, oh oh / [error #404 - intranslatable] Oh oh, oh oh Tavęs niekad nepamiršiu / I will never forget you Kaltint Tave / Blaming you Taip daugiau lengviau / Is so much easier Jaučiuosi ramiau, nepyki / That's how I cope, don't be angry with me Aš stengsiuos gyvent / I'll try to live on Man laikas padės / With time it will get better Taip sako visi – nelengva / That's what everyone says - not easy Aš žinau, aš žinau, aš žinau / Oh I know, oh I know, oh I know Vistiek tavim tikiu / I still believe in you Aš žinau, aš žinau nežinai / Oh I know, oh I know, you don't know Tavęs niekad nepamiršiu / That I will never forget you Oh oh, oh oh Oh oh, oh oh Tavęs niekad nepamiršiu / I will never forget you Įkvėpk ir nepaleisk / Breathe in and don't let go Įkvėpk ir nepaleisk / Breathe in and don't let go Tu Įkvėpk ir nepaleisk / Just breathe in and don't let go1 point

Disappointment in the Danish jury After several hours of discussing, it finally seemed like the Danish jury had managed to agree. "A song has been selected and we're expecting to announce it in an hour or so", the chairman, Agger, happily stated 10 minutes ago. But the joy was short. The technicians working on the presentation, lead by Mattias (who looks stangely much like Agger), announced a few minutes later that no video was found that was useful for the presentation. Therefore the jury has once again locked the doors and will try to find a new song. It could be by the same artist, but 4 artists have been in considerations, meaning that another one could get the shot.0 points
