  1. It most definitely will (at least in Brazil SporTV will show the competition in some sports like Athletics and Swimming).
  2. Parapan American Games 2019 Lima (PER) - 23 August 2019 - 1 September 2019 Official Website
  3. In case anyone is interested, here's a medal table considering Olympic events only (forgive me for possible mistakes).
  4. Curious enough, 1995 Games remain the one with most events (432).
  5. Brazil ends with 171 medals (55 45 71). Our record for most medals in one edition (previously was 157 in 2007) and most golds (52 also from 2007) + our best place in the medal table. Nice results even though this means very little in terms of Olympic prospects. Still, I think Brazil can reach 15-20 medals in Tokyo.
  6. It's a bad result but athletes are seeking Olympic qualification in both Volleyball and Beach Volleyball so Pan Ams shouldn't be the main focus. What they should do IMO is send only young players in both sports, maybe it would be a good experience for them.
  7. I can only imagine some of the Bodybuilding athletes will have problems with doping, especially because for many this is the first experience with a competition like this. We'll know in the coming weeks.
  8. Bad scheduling in Volleyball as Argentina played a match almost past midnight and today will play for bronze at 9AM. (despite this, they might actually win the medal since their team is better than Brazil's)
  9. And there it is. Gold in women's Basketball. By far the most unexpected medal for Brazil at these Games (most thought we would be out in group phase). Well done
  10. Guilherme Costa's gold medal gives Brazil its best performance ever in Swimming and overall
  11. And it's gold for Bolivia
  12. Apparently Racquetball matches take forever
  13. Still no gold at Pan Ams for Yuri Alvear.
  14. With gold medals in Judo and Karate, Brazil now tied its best result ever (52). Brazil four medals away of surpassing our best result ever (157). *actually only 2 medals to our best result ever: Rio 2007: 52 40 65 Lima 2019: 52 39 65
  15. So in addition to being a bodybuilder, you have to dance and do some gymnastics
  16. Grenada close to winning its first ever gold medal.
  17. Any news on Racquetball final?
  18. Brazil ends with 5 / 2 / 2, our best result ever
  19. C'mon, is not that bad
  20. That feeling that things are coming to an end
  21. Contrary to @thiago_simoes, I'm already missing the official opening/theme music
  22. Thanks to the schedule, Brazil won 27 medals today, tying our record from 28 July 2007 (that day was still better because Brazil won 11 gold medals, while today we won 10). Brazil is 7 gold medals away to surpass Rio 2007, and 16 medals to surpass our total from that edition (both our best result ever). Maybe it's possible, but not that many gold chances left.
  23. Brazil king of the 50m events.
