  3. Given that the last time we hosted them was in 1936, I honestly think Germany deserves it. But right now there's sadly no way that the public will agree.
  4. Do I understand correctly, that each federation can send two boats per event? https://cdn.dosb.de/user_upload/Olympische_Spiele/Tokio_2020/internationale_Qualifikationskriterien/ICF_Canoe_Sprint_20181015.pdf If so, that's a big change.
  5. Is it known which teams can play at the continental qualifiers? Edit: No matter, I found the answer in the women's thread. Thanks.
  6. Better get over it and just unite with Slovenia. Problem solved.
  7. Torn cruciate ligament for Veith. The Season is over for her.
  8. Anna Veith probably injured again. According to german spekaing media, she is in hospital with possible knee injury.
  9. Olympic Champion Kira Walkenhorst has retired due to injury problems.
  10. Good. Olympic Games were successfull, Dreßen won Kitzbühel, Athletics European Championships were great, Kerber won Wimbledon. Of course World Championships in Football were terrible, but since I care a bit less about Football than most other Sport fans do, it didn't overshine the positive stuff for me.
  11. Luitz was pretty consistent in the year before his injury. From January to December 2017 he finished in the top 5 in all World Cups in Giant Slalom. We'll see, if it can continue like this or if the mistakes from his earlier Career will return.
  12. There was half an hour break shortly after noon according to German media. But I think it's over. At least the live results are working (more or less): https://live.fig-gymnastics.com/schedule.php?idevent=13335
  13. Laura Dahlmeier is ill and has to take a longer break in Training. She most likely won't compete at the very least in the first few World Cups.
  14. https://worldrankings-staging.aws.iaaf.org/world-rankings/100m/men
  15. IJF has put the Olympic Ranking on their Website, including the list of athletes that were currently qualified. Men: https://www.ijf.org/wrl_olympic?category=all_male Women: https://www.ijf.org/wrl_olympic?category=all_female Team: https://www.ijf.org/wrl_olympic_teams
  16. And here's the official document: Rugby Sevens Tokyo 2020 Qualification System.pdf
  17. Couldn't they simply add two more Judges and not count the worst and best result, like it is done in Diving or even Ski Jumping.
  18. Did I miss Laura Kraut or didn't she start?
