  1. Both Patrick Beckert and Nico Ihle went to german media and said that they weren't the athlete in question.
  2. Because two men and two women from South Korea qualified in Air Pistol.
  3. Quote places in Women's Skeet for and
  4. I know there's still a lot of time to qualify, but the german results begin to really frustrate me.
  5. Isn't blood doping more helpful in endurance competitions? I don't know how it is with 500 metres and 1000 metres in Speed Skating, but normally I'm not associating blood doping with sprint.
  6. Also several cyclists (no specific nation mentioned) who competed at big cycling tours.
  7. Am I dreaming? That's fantastic. Sadly it doesn't Count for the Olympic ranking yet, but at least it should give them enough WRL Points to have a better seeding in the upcoming months.
  8. Yes: https://www.iaaf.org/news/press-release/council-march-2019-olympic-qualification It's january 1st for the very Long distances and the multi events and May 1st for all the other events.
  9. How? Doesn't qualification period for Shot Put start in May?
  10. Frankly, I'm not so secretly hoping that Buchmann skips the Tour de France 2020 to focus on the Olympics. I don't think he as a realistic chance for more than Top Ten if everyone is on the height of their power. But maybe he has if his rivals lose some power in the mountains during the Tour. But I suppose his pro-tour-team has a say in this as well.
  11. The Road Race at the 2020 Olympics will only be one week after the end of the Tour de France (unless schedule for TdF changes). After a very hard TdF there will be a very hard Olympic Competition in the mountains, and inbetween they'll have to travel for several hours by plane into another time zone. So we'll see what Roglic or anyone else from the favourites will do. I wouldn't be surprised if some stars skip the Olympics (or alternatively the TdF).
  12. Pigorsch missed the final by one place. That sucks. Hales made it.
  13. Scanlan qualified for the final. Therefore four women will fight for the two quota places.
  14. Asian Olympic Qualifier seems to be from April 6th to April 12th 2020: https://www.ittf.com/2020-event-calendar/
  15. Goodbye, Felix. He was and may ever be my favourite sportsperson. But he's probably right that it's his time to go.
  16. Oh! I would like that. The Ski World Cup Final in Soldeu is really great so far. Interesting courses, good races, nice weather and many visitors. It's much more fun than the World Championships this year.
  17. They changed the URL for the last World Championships. The site is still online, but the Content isn't: https://roadto.de/ However: I know the guys who made this site. They are from a german athletics message board. And I'm pretty sure they won't continue to update the site. It was much easier to update the ranking by PB than do the World Ranking. I don't know for sure, but I think it's unlikely that they will continue to update the list. If they do, they'll probably do a Road to Doha first and start the Road to Tokyo at some Point after the World Championships.
  18. IGF has published the current Olympic Qualification lists: https://www.igfgolf.org/olympic-games/tokyo-2020/tokyo-2020-qualification-system/tokyo-2020-olympic-golf-rankings/ (Sorry, if it's mentioned anywhere else here and I missed it.)
  19. Do you know the points distribution for Team sprint and Team pursuit for the Olympic Ranking? How many Points do the federations get for each rank? Thanks a lot.
  20. Of course Lundby didn't come out of nowhere. I'm disappointed and a bit angry, because I think Althaus was today the best Jumper and deserved to win gold. But there's no doubt that Lundby is a world class ski Jumper.
  21. Overall World Cup 2013/14: https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/ski-jumping/cup-standings.html?sectorcode=JP&seasoncode=2014&cupcode=WC&disciplinecode=all&gendercode=L&nationcode= As you can see, in contrast to what is generally thought, Vogt did not come out of nowhere in Sotschi. She did not win because she was suddenly better than during the World Cup. She won because Takanashi was significantly worse than during the World Cup. Same during the World Championships 2015. Only at the WC two ago she came from an outsider position.
