  1. Germany has a realistic chance to medal in K1 as well. Aigner missed the final because he touched one gate, otherwise he would have only have been 0,88 seconds behind in the semis. It's an extremely close Competition.
  2. Nope, because Berlin is part of the World Marathon Major Series.
  3. Wow. Gold for Herzog. Never expected this. So we won the medal in the event where it was least likely.
  4. Berlin Marathon, Women: Melat Kejeta 2:23,57 Martina Strähl by finishing in the Top 10 Nina Lauwaert by finishing in the top 10
  5. Berlin Marathon, Men: Guojian Dong 2:08,28 Peter Herzog 2:10,57 Yassine El Faathaoui 2:11,08 Matt Llano 2:11,14
  6. Bekele missed the World Record at the Berlin Marathon by two seconds.
  7. What a disappointment in C1. Now hoping they keep their nerves at the European Championships.
  8. That's great News. The men's Tournament in Berlin and the Women's one not far from Germany. Maybe with many german fans rooting for them, one of the two teams will be able to make it. It would be a surprise, bu not impossible.
  9. Wasn't Japan already automatically qualified as a host?
  10. Only the best time out of the two heats counts?
  11. Right now I'm happy that Roglic didn't get the second quota. The way he was riding behind Dennis the whole time was borderline, IMO.
  12. According to German media, Germany is qualified in the mixed relay, since they will definitily finish among the top seven Teams. Since Germany is currently sixth, it means that at least six out of the seven Teams from World Ranking are already qualified; https://www.dtu-info.de/news/2019/tokio-2020-mixed-relay-qualifiziert-sich-fuer-olympia.html
  13. It's okay, as someone once said somewhere: If you Need to explain the joke, it's not the best one.
  14. Will the dutch Olympic Federation now decide not to nominate any female cyclists or do they have still the Chance for a reprieve?
  15. Did Dygert take a shortcut somewhere?
  16. Having as a first tie breaker the matches against each other is not that unusual. It's done at Football European Championships as well, for example.
  17. Are there any live results? The ESC site is not very good. There's a link to the stream With a schedule, but no results. Who made it to the final in the Men's rapid fire and Women's rifle 3 positions?
  18. Each team can only win one quota place. For example Mol/Sorum cannot win a quota place both here and through the ranking.
  19. I really don't understand Wrestling rules at all. Why was Mohamed still winning at 5:5, if Stäbler was the last one to score? Sorry for the probably dumb Questions. By the way, Stäbler was once at the German version of celebrity Big Brother, and IMO he was completely unlikeable. But I still take the Bronze medals from him and Kudla.
  20. To be honest, I have no idea about this, because I basically don't follow Wrestling at all outside of the Olympics. I'm just glad that we have a quota place. I'm not even completely sure why he won, even though the result was 1:1. Because he was the last one to score?
  21. QUota place for Germany in Men's 87. Kudla
  22. Short question, because I'm not sure: The Cuban needs to reach the final for Stäbler to participate in the repechage round, is that correct?
