  1. Switzerland is definitely qualified, if neither Hungary nor Russia win the tournament? Is this true or did I miscalculate something?
  2. Marathon, Dresden Simon Boch 2:10,47 He's the fourth German runner to get the standard in marathon. In case there are more than three Germany will nominate the three fastet, and Boch is currently third on this list. But Richard Ringer has Another chance in April at the Hamburg marathon.
  3. Sure, but there aren't results, are they? Just the bracket. Or is this a problem of my computer?
  4. Is the tournament in Kazan cancelled? There aren't any results on the official page.
  5. Vlhova is a potential top 10 athlete in all four disciplines, even her weaker ones. Gut isn't. The difference in women's number of races isn't that big anyway. The difference is much bigger in men's competition with 21 technical races to 13 speed races. Pinturault is the lucky one, if he should win the big globe, not Vlhova.
  6. Olympic Champion Arnd Peiffer has retired. He already won't start in the Ostersund World Cup anymore.
  7. Yeah, because they were actually the best ranked teams at the World Championships, so there's a reason for it.
  8. What seems wrong to me is Spain being only in pot 5. I'm aware that it's because they qualified as European Champion. But still, otherwise they would have been part of the qualification tournament anyway. Same for Egypt, for that matter. But since both top 5 teams are comparatively strong teams, it sort of evens out, I guess.
  9. Even though these meetings won't be listed here on the first page, you might be interested. April is supposed to be the decisive months for German swimmers. There are four meetings in April, which are FINA approved qualification meetings. And after these four meetings, the German swimming team will be completed. Or at least this is the plan. The four meetings are: Würzburg, April 3rd - 4th Magdeburg, April 9th - 11th Berlin, April 16 - 18th Dortmund, April 17th - 18th Source (in german), including a list of the entry timed german swimmers are supposed to be swim and the already qualified athletes: Quali-Finale in Berliner Bubble | So kommen die DSV-Asse zu Olympia - SWIM.DE
  10. Since I admittingly know nothing about Sailing: How many races are there?
  11. Granerud tested positive for Corona: Granerud testet positivt for korona: - Jeg er veldig trist (tv2.no)
  12. The speed event should have been a downhill, not a Super-G. Changing this to a Super-G was simply an awful decision.
  13. Pole Vault Menno Vloon 5,81m in Düsseldorf ISTAF Indoor 2021 Düsseldorf live | leichtathletik.de
  14. Live Results Karlsruhe: Indoor Meeting Karlsruhe | World Athletics Indoor Tour (meeting-karlsruhe.de) Livestream, but I don't know if it's geoblocked: SWR Livestream - Leichtathletik Indoor Meeting Karlsruhe, 29.1. ab 18:35 Uhr - SWR Sport
  15. Geiger and Kraft have chances. Their standing in the World Cup is misleading, because both missed several competitions.
  16. The polnish team is not allowed to start in Oberstdorf. This is probably the correct decision but very bitter and lessens the value of the Four hills tournament significantly.
  17. Germany's female sportsperson of the year is Long Jumper Malaika Mihamo Male sportsperson of the year is Leon Draisaitl (Ice Hockey) Team is FC Bayern Munich (Football)
  18. Geiger's style marks in the first attempt yesterday were way underrated. And regarding distance being less worth in Ski Flying: Geiger's four jumps actually had a total of 936.5 metres. Granerud had a total of 932.5 metres. If Granerud had bad luck (aside from the obvious 0.5 points), than it may have been due to wind conditions in the first attempt.
  19. According to the tracking app, it is. Which time do you have?
  20. Marathon Deborah Schöneborn 2:26:52 in Valencia Rabea Schöneborn 2:28:42 in Valencia Of course it just means that now more th
  21. Hopefully Bo Kanda Lita Baehre (German Pole Vaulter). He finished 4th at the WC in Doha but far behind the top three. Today he cleared 5,81 metres in Leverkusen. This probably wouldn't be good enough for a medal, but he still has a year to go.
  22. Everybody who reached the standard can take part, even if the entry number is higher than for example 80 in Marathon.
