  1. Edit: I just found it. Clicked on the wrong link at first.
  2. I agree. It's bad luck for her, but what about everyone who has been injured during the restrospectively crucial tournaments? Are they getting Olympic Wildcards as well?
  3. Women's, 5000 metres Hanna Klein 15:01,99 in Los Angeles Track Scoreboard
  4. If a federation has more than two qualifiers, can they choose which one to send? I kind of want Germany to send Marvin Dogue and Liebig, but Patrick Dogue was the one who qualified back in 2019 at the European Championships.
  5. Also in Halle Marike Steinacker 64,03 metres in Discus. She's the 5th German to get the standard, but the rules in Germany are: 1. Standards achieved in the summer season of 2021 2. Standards achieved in 2019 or in the indoor seasons 2020 or 2021 3. World ranking So the ones who got the standard this season are in a pole position, and aside from Kristin Pudenz only Steinacker threw the Discus standard so far this year in women's discus.
  6. Halle, Discus Throw David Wrobel 67,30 metres Clemens Prüfer 67,41 metres leichtathletik.de | Das Leichtathletik-Portal
  7. 100 metres women Lisa Mayer 11,12 seconds in Mannheim. (4th German to get the standard in this discipline.) All results: leichtathletik.de | Das Leichtathletik-Portal
  8. Without starting a discussion about vaccination. The point of vaccinating is not to stop people getting the virus, which is impossible, but to stop or at least highly reduce the more serious/dangerous illnesses. If we reach the point, where the virus is really nothing more but a cold, we have won.
  9. The only compromise other than not having to many people in the Olympic village at the same time that even seems remotely possible for me is having some of the events take place in a different country. Otherwise it's all or nothing. You can't simply say to a number of athletes that they have to stay home even though they were already qualified.
  10. I think the much more important point in this regard is that Biontech wants do donate vaccine to the IOC to vaccinate all athletes. This really is my smallest worry and I'm very optimistic the athletes will be safe. What concerns me more is the general situation in Japan regarding vaccination.
  11. The Japanese government is doing a terrible job anyway. For such a rich country it's unexcusable that the vaccination rate is still so low. It's not the Olympics that cause death and harm and Japan. It's that the Japanese have barely vaccinated their people. Maybe they should stop discuss the Olympics and start giving the vaccination to the doctors.
  12. According to German news agency SID Tasiadis is qualified.
  13. I'm not sure. I only knew that Herzog, Funk and Aigner were prequalified regardless of the result at the EC. Otherwise it was only said that the men in C1 fight for the last quota place.
  14. 3/10! Now hoping that there won't be any corrections, but both Tasiadis and Ivaldi started very early. So it should be okay.
  15. If Semifinal results are confirmed, than quota place in women's C1 will go to
  16. Men's High Jump Loic Gasch 2,33 metres - SELTEC Sports LA-Portal (laportal.net)
  17. The Italians are really strong here. That worries me quite a bit for the C1.
  18. What happened on the first mat? Is someone injured?
  19. Both German athletes who participated today made it to the semi final.
  20. This a second chance event for nations that finished outside the top 7 in Olympic ranking.
