    What they should do, but probably never will, is giving each continent one quota place and have decide the others in World wide qualifiers, like they do in Handball, Volleyball, Hockey etc. Oh, and "Go, Thailand".

    Of course i'm hoping otherwise, but I'm sure you'll still win this semifinal. Italian Team in men's foil is too good not to win this.

    Result couldn't have been worse. Germany - Brazil becomes more likely. Still well done, Argentina. Great Fighting spirit. But, I, too don't understand why there were only five minutes extra time.

    It's still very possible that Germany will play either Brazil or Japan in the round of 16. And Italy had a very difficult group. So that's a reward for winning it.

    Yeah, it's a terrible tournament so far for Italy with at least six medals in the individual events.

    I'm not as impressed by France as many others seem to be. They aren't bad, but IMO not as good as the press made some out to be. IMO, they would be like 65:35 favourites against Brazil, while Germany would be like 55:45 favourites. It still gives Brazil a big enough chance for an upset in both cases.

    IMO, Italy is a clear favourite against any of these teams. Depending who will lose in each round (Brazil is definitely capable to knock out France or Germany), you could even have a chance to qualify for Tokyo.

    Theoretically, we could know the first semi-finalist tomorrow. If Spain and Belgium draw, than the Winner of Italy vs Poland will be in the semi-final. The match against each other is the first decider, if two teams have the same amount of points.

    So it will be either France vs Brazil or Germany vs Brazil in the round of 16.

    In the Women's Tournament yes, in the Men's Tournament no.

    You are right, they are not pronounced like that, But I can't think of any english words with similar phonetics either. For the French Speakers: The "ö" is pronounced like "eu" in the french word "joyeux". The "ü" is pronounced like the "u" in many French words (for example in "une" or "tu").

    I used Wikipedia as a source (they had Five quota places at the WC), and they seem to have the free spot from the Asian Games reallocated at the World Championships instead of giving it to Indonesia. I think that's wrong, so four of the five will win a quota place?
