  1. I'm still wondering whether the current situation (thousands of cases per day here, but rarely more than 10-15 deaths) is worse than that in March/April (fewer cases, but way more deaths and IC units getting full). With way more testing than back then, of course there's going to be way more positive tests as well, including for people with only minor symptoms or barely anything at all.
  2. To be entirely fair to the IOC, why would they need to have some opinion on an execution in Iran? Not saying it's good what happened and there's plenty of organizations who can and do support their concern with these kind of things, but why would the IOC be one of them in this case and not in every execution case, because he happened to wrestle in his youth or something (as I think our Iranian friend here explained)?
  3. And dude, don't just underline Jasna, it's worth more than that: a special mention to be back after 4 years!

  5. Finish in Matera today, I absolutely recommend anyone who isn't familiar with that to Google it, especially if you're interested in general history it is incredibly interesting
  6. "What does this performance mean to you?" Ah, marketing people and their original questions
  7. Getting both world records inside two months, what a phenom
  8. Commentators talking as if these lights are an entirely new thing
  9. And just for some context: 26:43 was the fastest time ran in the entire past decade, nearly half a minute behind Bekele's WR....ran in 2011, by Bekele.
  10. Exactly on Bekele's pace, it's tight.
  11. Kimeli is done, Cheptegei is on his own. He's lost a second on 2:37 pace.
  12. Ramsden takes them through 3km in 7:52, his exact mission (and he holds on a little longer)
  13. "I think here he may be left with more laps to run by himself." (compared to the 5k)
  14. Going out with a 2:37 kilometer, lord have mercy.
  15. Three for him: Hoornweg first, then Ramsden, then Kimeli.
  16. Letensebet Gidey is well on her way for the WR, even with Tirunesh' insane last kilometer.
  17. Oh oh oh Busta Rhymes letting himself get broken by Djokovic by a terrible choice on a terrible moment
  18. Yeah, I decided to just open UCI's Twitter account for some small updates and check the results. UCI is great at taking the fun out of events.
  19. Any idea where to watch today's three races? Red Bull TV is apparently not allowed to show it because of the UCI showing it....nowhere?!
  20. I see it's not posted here yet but together with Melichar, Swiatek is also in the doubles semis
