  1. Zombie alert in Florida, @dezbee2008you ok? https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2018/05/23/lake-worth-florida-sent-out-alert-warning-zombie-invasion/636049002/
  2. How many wrestlers won a medal in both freestyle and Greco-Roman? (even more so, how many did that at the same Olympics?)
  3. Yep, I got a photo as well from a random gas station in Caraguatatuba (where she lives) and it's the same view: huge lines, all day long. I really hope this will either be solved or she'll be able to find someone to bring her and have enough fuel to do so..
  4. Wonderful, apparently there's some sort of strike among fuel truck drivers/companies (something like that) in Brazil, making it rather unsure whether or not my girlfriend can make it to the airport Saturday to fly to the Netherlands.... I know a strike like this causes more significant problems in the big picture obviously, but this sucks. Edit: This. https://www.wsj.com/articles/brazil-truck-drivers-strike-over-fuel-prices-1527006248
  5. Any word on a new partner for Alison? By far my favourite beach volleyball player in the world, so I hope he finds a good partner.
  6. LottoNL and Bora bringing the win to Viviani, good job guys
  7. LottoNL-Jumbo closed the gap with the leaders, nice work for a decent 6th place for Van Poppel Also a shitload of rain coming down at the finish, that's gonna be fun (to watch, not to ride)
  8. Some tunnels soooooo goodbye images of the exciting first part of this stage. And welcome back 19th century
  9. So, Kendrick Lamar has some 'song' (as far as you can call it that) with a couple instances of the dreaded word 'nigga' in it. All fine and dandy, it's his song, his lyrics. Then, he gets a fan on stage to rap with him...she raps his exact lyrics, including 'nigga'....and gets sent off into a mad crowd for rapping his exact lyrics https://genius.com/a/kendrick-lamar-called-out-a-white-fan-for-rapping-the-n-word-onstage-during-m-a-a-d-city
  10. Sounds smart. Going from a country where he has no chance of representing their national team to move to a country where it's way easier to get into the national team. Oh wait.
  11. Hello, you are now my favourite Totallympian
  12. Too bad Juraj isn't there to complete the set of not-so-amazing-brothers-of-amazing-cyclists
  13. Same thing as antifa, but on the other side (I guess it's more of a thing only in this part of Europe then) Both violent and both seemingly unable to find any reasonable discussion somewhere in the middle between all kinds of extremes (which, at least in the Netherlands, is such a common thing in any discussion nowadays, everything is driven more and more towards extremes on whichever side and if you've got an opinion that's somewhere in the middle, both sides accuse you of being an 'extremist' on the side that's not theirs).
  14. Antifa, Pegida, it's all a bunch of extreme bullcrap trying to cry harder than the other.
  15. How should I know the personal relations of players when basically all Dutch team players I know are Celeste Plak and Robin de Kruif? Obrigado
  16. I mean, of course Yates can still have a bad day and with a tough stage and back-to-back-to-back mountain finishes it's still possible for things to get shaken up, but so far Yates is the only one who has shown not a single sign of weakness, especially on the mountains....so for the pink to change, Yates needs a crappy day
  17. No Dumoulin in the shape of his life, Yates in 'normal' shape, a longer time trial and a course set for absolute specialists....maybe 3 minutes would have been possible, today I was expecting Yates to lose no more than 1 minute seeing as the course didn't seem to be made for big differences, Yates is in alien shape and Dumoulin is not in last year's mutant shape.
  18. The fight for pink? That was already over before today, apart from freak stuff like taking a crap right before a big climb or diving head-first into a wall of snow.
  19. This thing is going pretty well @Brazilians: who are the Brazilian players I should be looking out for next week in Apeldoorn?
  20. All your fjord are belong to us.
  21. Pinot well and truly beaten by Ryan Gibbons and Danny van Poppel
  22. Pinot doing what Pinot does..
  23. The fuck did Jos have for breakfast
