  1. Sounds legit. I've put my monthly salary on it. Thanks for the tip.
  2. https://www.casimages.com/i/180706071248266484.gif Edit: this should be an animated image of Lloris, but I' m 88% drunk, so whatever.
  3. Not even... to reach 78% (18/23), you have to count the likes of Griezmann and Hernadez and also Lémar and Varane (whose famillies were allready french citizns living in a french territory at a time when most of the countries in this world cup didn't even exist, but still count as "migrants", presumably becaure they are not white...) Funny how teams made up of virtualy 100% foreigner-born players like Tnisia or Morocco somehow don't count either... Nevermind, really.
  4. That statement... ffs... there is nothing in it. He's cleared... because... well, he's cleared. So now please fuck off and enjoy our races. It's about cycling, it's about UCI, it's about a freakin kenyan boy that used to be tracted by car just to make the finish line who has became one of the greatest GT riders of all time. You need to make it crystal clear why he's cleaned. Do they think, this statement is even remotly enough ? Really ?
  5. And now, I tend to beleive that ASO move was only PR knowing perfectly well he was going to be cleared. Fuck that sport, really.
  6. Fuck ! Fuck. https://lequipe.fr/Cyclisme-sur-route/Actualites/Christopher-froome-blanchi-pour-son-controle-anormal/918042 Froome cleared. Edit UCI's statement: http://www.uci.ch/pressreleases/uci-statement-anti-doping-proceedings-involving-christopher-froome/
  7. It's not complete enough anyway. Is it just an UCI race ? What about ASO and other sponsors ? We agree it's a men's race, fine. But are they binary ? Cisgender ? And the date ? 2018 , ok . But is it BC or AD ? Very confusing.
  8. If Froome doesn't take part, Sky will GTFO too IMO. If anything, by pure hubris.
  9. If Froome is out, this could indeed turn to be an epic Tour. Leaders of relative equal strenght and no team do demolish the field In the meantime...

  11. https://lemonde.fr/tour-de-france/article/2018/07/01/christopher-froome-ecarte-du-tour-de-france-par-les-organisateurs-l-equipe-sky-fait-appel_5323956_1616918.html Apparently ASO has banned Froome to take part of the TDF... If you don't care about soccer, this will become your favorite TV show for the days to come. Sky has allready appealed it, and the case will be reviewed by french NOC tuesday (the decision should be announced the day after). There shouldn't be enough time for the CAS to review it by the start of the Tour. Sky : " We are confident that Chris will take part as we know he has done nothing wrong" . Yeah, right.

  13. Emotions enough for a world cup. That's all I asked for, thank you guys
  14. To show everyone how retarded this rule of chosing one team sport is ?
  15. Don't want to waste your party, but not really, a minor sport (and rink hockey is defintly minor in Italy) will tend to shine in minor towns. That goes for any sport, probably everywhere . 50K is a rather good standard for an european top rink hockey club .
  16. Is it any wonder that these events still get some cities bidding for them. The financial loss might be substantial.
  17. Also used in french (not very common). Much more common, is the use of the word "fanny" when a team or someone is scoreless in a game or a tournament. The origins of the expression are rather nebulous, but it has been popularised through the world of pétanque of the early XXth century when the losing team had "to kiss fanny ass" as some kind of a punishment. Nowadays, It's used in sports as in everyday life. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embrasser_Fanny
  18. Same in french: 'panier' (litteral translation of basket) is used when someone scores. The term 'basket' is commonly used to name the sport when basketball connoisseurs tend to prefer to use the full term of 'basketball' (in a kind of 'I'm better than you' way )
  19. Apparently, it's all been paid by the hungarian government...
  20. Both combined or each ? In any case (and no offense to the slovak league) that seems quite expensive...
