  1. I'm sure that in some dictator-like country there would be major potential in creating a breeding program like thing with athletes instead of horses.
  2. I will be joining team Denmark once again! Looking forward to revisiting Krakow. Had some fine experiences there some years ago and some delicious food in Kazmierz. Will a guided tour in the wieliczka salt mine be included?
  3. I would very much like to hear how much better the internet becomes after getting the shot. It really sounds incredible!
  4. Or they just stopped considering whether there were civilian casualties. Don't get me wrong. Obama was in no way perfect and neither will Biden be, but it's just stupidity using a single strike to start making Biden more dangerous than Trump.
  5. Seems like there's a major scepsis around the EU when it comes to AstraZeneca's vaccine meaning that millions of doses are waiting to be used. Now Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen states that Denmark will be ready to buy the doses if countries aren't gonna use them. Just in Germany it seems like more than a million doses have been distributed without being used. That could be a massive boost in Denmark but could also be distributed to poorer countries. Everything but keeping them on the shelves would be good!
  6. Trump ordered more drone strikes than Obama
  7. Team Denmark Men Kojo Musah (60m) Simon Hansen (60m) Emil Mader Kjær (60m) Gustav Lundholm Nielsen (400m) Andreas Martinsen (60m Hurdles) Andreas Holst Lindgreen (1500m) Mikael Johnsen (1500m) Kristian Uldbjerg Hansen (1500m) Joel Ibler Lillesø (3000m) Mikkel Dahl-Jessen (3000m) Jakob Dybdal Abrahamsen (3000m) Women Astrid Glenner-Frandsen (60m) Mathilde U. Kramer (60m) Mette Graversgaard (60m Hurdles) Alberte Kjær Pedersen (3000m)
  8. Meanwhile Denmark will be sending our largest squad in a long time at 15 athletes. And that's even without several of our major names.
  9. Bad qualification for the Swedish men (except Grate) but all made it through and another disaster for the timing!
  10. While I agreee that putting athletes in the front of the vaccine line would be problematic, I would say that it would also be problematic to cancel an event due to some who are pissed. There'll always be people complaining on social media. That's not gonna change!

  12. 3rd and 5th! That's pretty damn good. Close to perfect by Joachim. Jacob 12 seconds away from top 10. That's pretty decent as well!
  13. And just as I got used to looking at Moghdid for Weel Rosbo's time they changed it.
  14. Was the live tracking as bad during the women's? They don't seem to get the bib numbers.
  15. While we lost our (by far) best player. Man I feel sad that this team didn't qualify. It's rubbish how much the draws mean when hosts participate in the qualification.
  16. The way Cruz enjoys blaming everybody else it's rather deserved that it gets attention.
  17. Not for athletes. However it should be mentioned that some skiers have their base in Norway or USA which may have an impact. But some athletes (like speed skater Viktor Hald Thorup) haven't prioritized competing this year as well. I strongly question that we'll qualify in curling. The federation has lost most of the funding meaning that there's been no way to prioritize. But well, we're in the Worlds, so maybe. I have us as small favourites for the men's ice hockey, but that's not the first time. To me the main question would be how tough the national qualification will be. We should be able to qualify more than 3 (also without ice hockey, but how many will actually be selected?
  18. All Norwegian World Cups in March are not going to happen, it seems.
