  1. This is massive! Massive congratulations to the Danish women and the team around the project!
  2. Have really been looking forward to this. Good chances for Danish records in both 4x100m if things work out. Just hope the extra attention won't make them too nervous. We'll most likely need a bit of luck to make it into the finals, but it's not out of reach.
  3. I know that live timing is always unsure, but it's just ridicolously off today!
  4. From what I understand (was out running at the time) about a minute was gained outside the neutralization (doesn't mean that it's not pretty controversial)
  5. Personally my plans of the half marathon in a week are very uncertain. I have been fighting the last couple of weeks with some pretty sore legs. Gave it a test run today (11km) after a week without running. Felt much better than a week ago but I'll see in a few days whether I believe that it'll happen or if I'll wait.
  6. We haven't won a stage yet in Romandie after winning in 5 World Tour stage races in a row. Guess Cort got that memo!
  7. Terribly tough one among the 4 top ones (on the list). Have been following sailing more and more. Meanwhile it was a pleasure watching the canoeing sprint in London. Swimming is one of the top events and home of Olympic legends and rowing means a lot to modern Danish Olympics! But I ended up selecting sailing.
  8. That's pretty weird. Media has given Glifberg some decent attention and he has mentioned that 33rd place himself (the rankings without nationals). But I guess if it's the federation that's a mess the skaters may not be aware of that detail.
  9. Meaning that Dew Tour is the only event left for the park ranking? If your theory is correct that would put Glifberg pretty close to the Olympics
  10. I'm just sad for the commentators trying to mention every flag bearer if most countries end up with 2. They already talk a lot!
  11. Missing badminton mixed doubles that's my personal no. 1. But without that one, I'm going for triathlon mixed relay!
  12. But have they paid the penalisation fee?
  13. To be fair, I do understand one thing in what they say: It is tough to be a top club when some team have investors who are ready to put whatever kind of money needed into it. The dream scenario would be that every single club made agreements on wages. Of course Real Madrid should be able to pay more than my local team here in Denmark, but when we get to a situation where only a select few with billionaires behind them are able to afford it without breaking the bank, things should be reconsidered. Nobody needs the paychecks that Messi, Neymar and Mbappe get. However it does in no way help this situation trying to break away to get even more money!
  14. The fact that he stays so firm and try making it a gain for them (I wonder, where would those money go? To the collective? To Perez? Or JP Morgan?) really makes me stand firmer at kicking Real out of the ChL semis .
  15. Women’s Worlds cancelled, IIHF to seek new dates
  16. Agnelli has said that it's not gonna happen, but somehow Juve is still in the game. Laporta has been silent since stating that Barca's entry won't be ratified before the members vote. Real seems to be wanting to keep on, but I would guess that's it's Florentino doing whatever he can to keep it alive (even talks about that 23-year contract should stop the others from leaving)
  17. We're pretty close to the final (in the event: Jumping ship)
  18. And Milan was next. Are we going for El Clasico as the final?
  19. Nah. Want to hear from Comical Ali (oh sorry, Florentino Perez) first
  20. Sweden will be playing the 2nd match against Ukraine with a completely new team due to positive COVID tests.
  21. Ceferin is already welcoming City back, so that's unlikely. Personally I mainly hope that it'll start a cleansing of the clubs leaders including shifts in owners. I doubt fans will calm down in a near future and the anger should be sent towards the owners but also UEFA, FIFA and even national governing that has allowed the clubs to develop the way they have.
  22. Considering how they have been preparing taking it to the courtroom I have my strong doubts there. Also considering that they apparently have had polls made that were much more positive towards the idea than reality, I strongly do believe that it was the fans and the players (and staff) killing this. It was a very naive move, no doubt, but to me, it seemed like the punches from UEFA/FIFA was in fact the one thing they were prepared for.
