  1. The gravel sections could make it more interesting among the GC riders, but I'm pretty sure that the breakaway will take the win.
  2. Wouldn't be the only Swedish athlete to do so (though mainly in athletics where they are at least pretty clear about the standards)
  3. No. Just tries to punish people voting for the dems by making it harder. But that's not really new to the Republicans who care more about winning than whether it's actually democratic. Trump still has faced up to 4000 lawsuits. Don't claim that he has never been guilty of anything. And sure, there's a single islamist or two trying to stop people from voting and some people from the wings as well. But that's more at a general sense than the stupidity going on i the US and they never get any followers to their non-democratic ideas.
  4. Oh well. I was wrong. Burestedt has been selected
  5. I am not saying that it's a crime (but he keeps it going and accuses others of doing criminal stuff (Crime of the century is his words)). It's more of a terrible cultural problem (thank god we don't have that here in Denmark) But he can accuse but not be accused? That's just hypocrisy. There are plenty of things to worry about in the US (and other countries mentioned) and the Dems are in no way saints but if a case is automatically illegitimate due to being targeted at a right wing politician, something is terribly wrong (and don't give me that communism BS)
  6. Believe me, we joke about our voting as much as the Balkan voting and so on. I'm not impressed by our songs (and I think it's terrible this year). I think I've liked 2 of the last 10 Danish entries (Rasmussen and Emmelie de Forest). Think it would be about the same number from Norway, Finland and Iceland. Sweden has had a slightly higher succes rate, but I'm personally not a big fan of the kind of songs that win Melodifestivalen at the moment (I liked the Mamas, but not really John Lundvik and the 2 before him. Tusse isn't terrible, but nothing close to the former greats of Sweden). I'm by all means not voting for any Scandinavian songs, but I know that both the Swedish and Norwegian songs have an appeal to other Nordic people (possibly Iceland as well). It's after all about more than just being neighbours. Denmark has a musical culture much closer to Sweden and Norway than Serbia or Croatia and vice versa. It's a matter of taste more than anything else. That's quite a claim.
  7. Trump can go into as much legal cases as he wants (including keeping on talking about a stolen election... "The crime of the century") but he can't be prosecuted himself? He was a walking hatch act case. Not to mention that he has had plenty of cases against him much before his presidential run. Were they a matter of his political ideas? You can support them as much as you want, but it's rather worrying if somehow people can be innocent just due to their political views.
  8. Since the start of the televoting/juries idea, Sweden has only been outside top 10 in televoting in the final twice. Sure they are often higher in the jury votes, but it seems pretty clear that the viewers don't agree with you about Sweden being the worst ESC nation. Tusse's song isn't great, but there were plenty of worse songs advancing. I'm biased as a half Swede, but I'd listen to Tusse (and Tix) any day of the week before Ukraine, Azerbaijan (there you have an overestimated nation in ESC) and Russia. Doesn't mean that they'll get my vote. They are middle of the pack in my opinion.
  9. My 10 to advance (not the one's going to but the 10 that I would pick):
  10. If I could vote, it would've been for North Macedonia and Belgium
  11. Man I feel like disagreeing in most comments on the songs in here
  12. I like Ireland's visuals, but not really the performance.
  13. They have https://www.uci.ch/docs/default-source/official-documents/tokyo-2020---olympic-games/mtb-nationalranking-men---final.pdf https://www.uci.ch/docs/default-source/official-documents/tokyo-2020---olympic-games/mtb-nationalranking-women---final.pdf
  14. Don't expect that. They removed that in Sweden at the same time as they raised the prise and it hasn't been possible in Denmark while I've had it (in the beginning you could pick one without the movies but that was only about €4 different)
  15. You can expect it to just be the beginning. In Denmark they have most major football tournaments (except La Liga and Europa League), all American sports, golf, F1 and certainly a lot of other sports that I've forgotten. The price was about €45 but they raised it lately to 60. We do however have regular TV channels (if it wasn't for Ligue 1, I would have thrown away my subscription and moved back to flow-tv)
  16. The 2021 nations ranking isn't relevant for the Olympics. It's the rankings posted by dcro and the latest world cup. Shouldn't have overtaking Denmark
  17. Jeanette Ottesen seems to be ready for her 5th Olympic Games as she was faster than Emily Gantriis in the 4x100m freestyle. It was pretty much a direct race between those two for the last spot at the Olympics (which we aren't a 100 % sure to qualify for yet)
  18. Tobias Bjerg 2/100 away from the Olympic Standard. Fingers crossed in the semi!
  19. Should be published tuesday according to the qualification document.
  20. Also means a major risk that they won't be playing live.
  21. Had not expected our men's pair to keep up that speed!
  22. That women's pair will be very interesting in Tokyo when they actually get some more time together (they've been rowing together for less than a month)
