Chapecoense call for Nacional Copa Libertadores ban Chapecoense have asked South American football governing body CONMEBOL to ban Uruguay's Nacional from this year's Copa Libertadores after some of their fans mocked the 2016 plane crash that devastated the Brazilian club. Several Nacional supporters made gestures referring to the tragedy during Nacional's 1-0 victory at Chapecoense's Conda Arena in a Copa Libertadores qualifier on Wednesday. In a statement on Friday, Chapecoense said the request was based on competition rules that hold clubs responsible for fans who "attack human dignity." It asked CONMBEOL, which is investigating the alleged incidents, to make a ruling ahead of next Wednesday's second leg in Montevideo. Nacional have apologized for the fan behaviour and said two club members were now banned from stadiums. Seventy-one people died - including 19 Chapecoense players and all of the club's coaching staff - when their LaMia chartered flight ran out of fuel and slammed into a mountain near Medellin in November 2016. There were six survivors. The accident occurred just days before Chapecoense and Colombia's Atletico Nacional were due to play in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana final in Medellin. Chapecoense were later named winners of South America's second most important tournament at the request of Atletico Nacional.

Azarenka Moves Closer to Winning Custody Battle for Son Victoria Azarenka got some good news in her ongoing custody battle for her one-year-old son Leo this week. A California judge ruled that Azarenka’s case should be tried in Belarus and not in California—that’s good news because Azarenka was previously awarded custody from a Belorussian court.But there aren’t any guarantees as of yet. Leo’s father, Billy McKeague, had just about two weeks to file an appeal, and word is that he plans to do that. As it stands now, neither parent has been permitted to leave California with Leo, and Azarenka refuses to travel without him, which is why she has pulled out of the U.S. Open and the Australian Open. Reports are that Azarenka plans to move back to Belarus as quickly as possible, in the hopes that she may gain custody and begin touring the tennis circuit with her Leo soon. According to TMZ, which broke the story, Azarenka still wants to have an amicable co-parenting relationship with McKeague.

really Sad for our player Giana Farouk who was dominating -61 weight category almost in all age categories she won the gold in wchs , but last year she didn't participate in any competition , so i guess it's not a big surprise for her to lose in R16 , Ahmed el Masry in men's -84 , this guy is really amazing and since i watched him in wch -21 i realized that we really have a big champion and it didn't take much to prove this in senior level , he lost by shidos only in his final game against Iranian Player after winning in a big Margin in previous games , overall this's not the competition i wanted from the Egyptian team , cuz i believe we have much more better results to deliver
