  3. Alexander Ali KHACHAB is ranked 93rd with 666 points (if he's the guy you're referring to...as in the ranking he's listed with the unexistent LIB code)... p.s. Georges AGONKOUIN is placed above him (81st with 763 points)

  5. probably it's a question of commercial rights...NOCs must give permission to games developers to include their copyrighted stuff (logos, official uniforms and so on) in their products...and there's a good chance that many asked for money for that and so they were not included...
  6. to me, Turkey will "only" get the 4 spots they're currently already virtually in through the ranking... women's Kata and men's -75kg are unlikely to comeback from where they are now... Hocaoglu (women's +61) and Samdan (men's -67) are closer to the line, but I'm not sure they will be able to do it in any case (and tbh, I hope Samdan won't do it for any reason, as it would mean he's going to threaten Crescenzo's spot if he does improve his ranking )...
  7. I'm not sure at 100%... but this what they say in the official document for the OQ... "Should above not determine the priority of the ties, the resolution defined for Olympic Standings in the WKF World Ranking Regulations will apply" and this is what they say in tha said document... "In order to define positions 1 to 4 on the Olympic Standing, should two athletes have the same number of points and therefore, the same Olympic Standing position, then the position will be determined according to following criteria: ➢ Best position at the last World Senior Championships; ➢ Best position at the last Continental Championships they have participated in, within the qualification period; ➢ Total point difference between points scored in favor and points scored against the athlete by opponents (regardless of category) in the last Continental Championships. In order to define position 5 onwards in the Olympic Standing, should two or more athletes have the same number of points in an Olympic Standing position, then the position will be determined according to following criteria: ➢ Best position in the Olympic Standing by WKF weight category (only applicable to WKF weight categories merged for Olympic purposes). ➢ Best position at the last World Senior Championships. ➢ Best position at the last Continental Championships they have participated in within the qualification period. ➢ Best position in the 2019 Premier League" as far as I can understand, yes, if they are tied at the same position, they should look first at their total number of points, then go to the following set of tie-breaking criteria... but they should have been a lot more precise and set a detailed example for each of the possible situation to help people to understand what's going on...
  8. only if they want to compete among the "real women" (those with XX chromosomes)... if they want to start among the men, they can keep their testosterone level up as they normally have (still, within male average allowed values)... and this is more than correct...and not discriminatory at all... it's not that they must be allowed to whatever they want beyond other people's rights (and natural laws)...they just have the right to live their life without being threatened day in and day out by a bunch of idiots...
  9. they'd rather strip L.A. and the US of the Games...
  10. not to be mentioned that when it was all cooling down, the great Yasiel "el caballo loco" Puig heated up the situation once again... I do really love that man...how much I miss him with "my" Dodgers...he's always a show within the show...
  11. yeah, but this is really poor Cuban team...they still have a lot of better players to send to international competitions (if they want)...
  13. yeah, he came back after a very long pause 20 days ago in Montreal... one page back from this one in this same thread (post of July, 8th)...
  14. this is the current situation... https://www.ijf.org/wrl_olympic?category=7 he's outside the qualification mark, but only by less than 200 points, which means that he basically need to win the world champs and 1 (max 2) tournaments next spring and he would easily qualify (there are not so many Countries capable of starting a very competitive guy in the super-Heavyweights)... even only the world champs gold medal could be enough (it should be 2000 points for that this year)... however, he has to do it by himself, as France at the moment don't have any other player good enough to qualify (actually, they just don't have any other but Riner in the top 100 of the OQR)...
  15. and in fact today he was literally destroyed in a few seconds by an Azeri wrestler (not the same one he easily beat in baku last week at the EYOF)... shame on our coaches and our federation!
  16. nooo... what a pity! R.I.P.
  17. (Street Skateboarding) WorldSkate SLS Pro Tour, Stage #2 (Los Angeles, USA) Women's Competition Gold: Rayssa LEAL Silver: Pamela ROSA Bronze: Alana SMITH 4th, Aori NISHIMURA 5th, Margielyn DIDAL 6th, Leticia BUFONI 7th, Alexis SABLONE 8th, Yumeka ODA Men's Competition Gold: Yuto HORIGOME Silver: Maurio McCOY Bronze: Vincent MILOU 4th, Giovanni VIANNA 5th, Carlos RIBEIRO 6th, Sora SHIRAI 7th, Kelvin HOEFLER 8th, Nyjah HUSTON Full Results, here: http://www.worldskate.org/skateboarding/results/category/572-los-angeles-2019-stop-2-results.html @heywoodu this time Candy Jacobs couldn't make the final...she was "only" 11th in the semifinal heat (top 8 advancing)... however, this time there was more Dutch girls reaching the semis of this week's event...Keet Oldenbeuving was 14th and Roos Zwetsloot was 16th (out of the 30 riders qualified for the semifinals)...
  18. Grand Prix (Zagreb, CRO) Tournament Recap Japan once again topped the medal table of a Grand Prix event, this time it happened in Zagreb, where they won 4 Gold Medals (3 among the women and 1 among the men)... Canada and Georgia followed the Asians in the final Medal Table with 2 Gold medals each (1 in both genders for the North Americans, both among the men for the European side)... here are all the 2019 Zagreb GP Champions: Women: -48kg: Otgontsetseg Galbadrakh -52kg: Natsumi Tsunoda -57kg: Jessica Klimkait -63kg: Tina Trstenjak -70kg: Gemma Howell -78kg: Mami Umeki +78kg: Akira Sone Men: -60kg: Sharafuddin Lutfillaev -66kg: Alberto Gaitero Martin -73kg: Tohar Butbul -81kg: Takanori Nagase -90kg: Beka Gviniashvili -100kg: Shady Elnahas +100kg: Gela Zaalishvili Full Results, here: http://www.ippon.org/gp_cro2019.php
  19. I did really hope our NF would eventually rest him a bit... instead they are just killing him with 3 major championships in a month or so (Europeans, EYOF last week and now this one)... with such a busy schedule at his young age, he'll get burnt at the age of 17/18 (like Freni) just because our federation wants to win a medal in these useless youth tournaments instead of raising the best talent we've had for ages with care and looking at his senior career in perspective (which is what youth classes should only be about)...
  20. so...2.30 a few weeks ago...2.33 now...but in the middle a total flop at the u-23 Europeans... we do really need another choker like that...
  21. I know that TyC doesn't have rights for football...but the only working stream (at least for me) was broadcasting TNT's program (their logo was well visible)...
  22. only 1 option out of 3 (of course the low quality pictures version)... and my security suite (Kaspersky) says the software to download for the high quality picture is not safe and blocks it (probably it's a false positive, but still, I'm going to trust my security suite)... p.s. of course the main TyC feed is only about football (there was Estudiantes vs Aldosivi)...
  23. I don't know if they are broadcasting any event or not...but on satellite (unfortunately @ 47.5 degrees West, C band...totally outside my chance to view them ) there are 15 HDTV feeds going on at the same time, which should offer quite a comprehensive coverage... by the way, as I don't have much time to read too many pages on this thread back from today, do you have a list of streaming channels/websites broadcasting the Games? thank you in advance...
  24. Men's Cross-Country Race Gold: Mathieu Van Der Poel Silver: Florian Vogel Bronze: Milan Vader Full Results, here: https://www.mtbbrno.eu/s/ReMEL.pdf
  25. I think no (but it's a close race between her and Cynthia Woodhead, 1978 200m free champion...it's just a question of a few days, as Pilato was born on January 2005 and Woodhead in February 1964 and also the championships this year are around 1 month before than what happened in Berlin 41 years ago -when they started on August 20th)... however, at the Olympic Games, the Japanese Kyoko Iwasaki won the 200m breaststroke in Barcelona (1992) when she was only 14 years and 6 days young, so almost 6 months younger than Pilato and Woodhead... and also Krisztina Egerszegi was younger (14 years and 40 days) when she won the 200m backstroke in Seoul (1988)...
