  1. please, can someone explain to me the sense of the so-called Team Sprint? (which basically has nothing to do with real sprint performances, except for the first lap/skater) meanwhile, looking at the more traditional races, I'm very disappointed by today's performance by Francesca Lollobrigida...she started definitely too quick and she was already dead after 3 laps... she did show a lot of progress in the "classic" distances this year, but once again she missed out when it mattered most... among the boys, pretty average result for the Italian team...more or less it all went according to the preview...maybe Ghiotto was even a bit better than expected...let's see if he can get something big in "his" 10000m...
  2. quite interesting match between Russia and Finland... the Finns tied the game (2-2) with only 9 seconds left on the clock (and the goalie on the bench, of course)... then, after a scoreless OT, it all went on to the penalty shooutout, where good 18 shots were required to find a winner... at the end of the day it was Russia to take the victory home, with Kagarlitskiy scoring 3 times in the PSO (Russia scored 4 out of 9 PS, meanwhile FIN "only" 3, 2 of them thanks to Oliver Kaski)... in the other EHT game, instead, Jan Kovar scored a hattrick in the regulation, leading Czech Republic to an amazing 5-2 road win against Sweden... in the end, it was a nice hockey day...
  3. in the meantime, FIS President Gianfranco Kasper shows his real nature... https://www.thelocal.ch/20190206/swiss-ski-chief-kasper-olympics-are-easier-in-dictatorships https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1075192/kasper-causes-controversy-after-claiming-easier-for-ioc-to-organise-olympic-games-in-dictatorships

  5. Agree at 101%... but I think it's up to that Danish website rather than to the EKF (it shouldn't be an official streaming from the European federation, but a local thing only)... not that it changes anything, but still...
  6. you can always open her Instagram page... https://www.instagram.com/kellysildaru/

  9. sure, we have a sport budget richer than the entire US GNP... https://totallympics.com/index.php?/topic/846-sports-budgets-in-your-nation/&do=findComment&comment=181517
  10. I think someone here is obsessed about Staudacher's one-hit wonder last time the world champs were held in Are...
  11. is it Ziggo sports or Fox sports? the first one, I guess...
  12. I just watched raiplay and there are 2 streams of yesterday's PGS... raisportweb's streams are just unwatchable (what are them? 240p? maybe not even that )...to me, they don't exist... but for me that's never been a problem...I have sat TV and many other sources to make up for the Italian TV absence (and/or disasters)...
  13. Loginov really deserved today's win... and this silver medal is a good result for Fisch, but still it leaves some kind of bitter feeling, given the enormous advantage of the blue course over the red one...
  14. in the Countries where the TV networks bought the TV rights it's geo-blocked (actually, here the link's not even visible)...
  15. we don't even have a commentator! our TV is not showing this race live...right now they're showing yesterday's PGS!
  16. c'mon! if you only saw her races today, you'd know that nobody is lacking respect...actually, she's to be admired because she never gave up after her big mistakes and won 3 out of 4 races which in any other circumstance she could never win (with a regular course)... and she comes home with a medal (unlike her teammates who wasted the blue course advantage)...
  17. Gold for Switzerland...the French speaking commentator of the Swiss public TV is going crazy...someone give him a cardio-tonic, please!
  18. Sarsenbaev was training for the Moguls event rather than trying to beat Loginov in the PSL...
  19. yesss!!! Fischnaller takes advantage of the blue course once again and makes up for yesterday's disappointing elimination in the qualification runs... 5th world medal guaranteed for him...
  20. and Dancha is in the big final! perfect result for a crazy/unfair/unpredictable competition like this one...
  21. this time Hofmeister couldn't comeback...her mistake was really too big...
  22. the problem is that there are no "more important things" for an Alpine Snowboarder until the next World Champs in 2 years (and the Olympics in 3 years) time...
  23. agree at 200% (and it's the same for PGS) p.s. by the way, I'd really like to have the Alpine Skiing-alike Giant Slalom back...
  24. Loginov making one mistake after the other and still winning with a 2-second margin...
  25. naaa...the Olympics are still 3 years away from now and when you're at the world champs you never take any race with too much ease... by the way, this win by Fischnaller against Yankov is absolutely a farce...c'mon! he was 2 gates behind with 5 to go and still managed to win without doing anything special (nor the Bulgarian making any big mistake)...
