Dunajská Streda, Komárno, Štúrovo all this area is mainly inhabitted by Hungarian minority. Dunajská Streda is something like the capital of Hungary in Slovakia lol, their football club fans are ultras we can call "anti-slovaks" yes we are this world unique exception. we have a club in 1st league, so strong in our level that represent us (Slovakia) in european cups, but they will never raise a Slovak flag in the stands. and you can easily got a punch or two if some of their morons will hear you speaking slovak lol..
Their matches starts with fans singing Hungarian anthem...
ofc you can easily understand that the matches of this team are highly risky against other opponents, this is what happen(ed) when they face Slovan Bratslava, supposed to be the most famous Slovak club

on behalf of other users here (yeah I gave myself that permission ) I want to thank @hckosice for his hard work here. I usually check all results in all sports in multi sport events like this but since this website is TERRIBLE, I gave up doing that and only check the results involving Iranian athletes. this is good to see medalists name here and a direct link to the results without torturing yourself and checking that terrible website.

The top 3 in Group A is very clear to me ( ), with and battling it out for the last spot in the Round of 16. That's really a toss-up for me, as I think they could all take that final spot.
Group B: and are of course the biggest favorites. is a clear number 3 for me after their good performance this year in the Nations League. I don't think stands any change, so and will battle it out for that fourth place.
Group C is obviously the weakest here, with not performing as well as they back in 2016 and 2017, although they should still finish 2nd. I don't see any serious threat for in that group, they seem to be the clear group winners to me, whereas is the clear number 6 here in my opinion. That means and will battle for third and fourth place.
and are the clear favorites in Group D, but perhaps could surprise them here. They have shown good results against weaker teams, but I think they're ready to make the next step. Surprised to see that even qualified for this tournament. They should be happy with any win. I put over for 4th place in this group because of home advantage and the slightly better results in the past year. -

we will have the last day of AFC Futsal U20 Championship in Tabriz, North West of Iran tomorrow. with Japan and Afghanistan in the final. so far this is no big deal just a great achievement for Afghanistan, they lost to Iran in preliminary round but they beat Thailand and Indonesia in knockout round. the host team Iran instead lost to Japan in extra time in other SF.
but this tournament made me (and so many other people) find out there is a very bad , unbelievably racist rule in Iran. there are so many Afghans living in Iran, legally or illegally. something like 1 or 2 millions. but now I found out they only can travel to certain provinces. and their presence is highly forbidden in some other provinces including the one hosting this event. it seems so many of them wanted to travel to Tabriz supporting their team but they can't do that legally. I didn't know about such a rule because fortunately this racist rule doesn't apply to where I live.
I really feel ashamed as Iranian about this. I really hope some of them at least can travel for tomorrow match and Afghanistan wins the title (which will be tough since Japan is a better team) ironically more than half of Afghan players here are living in Iran as refugee. and they needed "special permission" to travel to Tabriz for that !
PS: on the funny side. there is a player in Indonesian squad named "Filippo Inzaghi" check #14 here

Iran federation will demand apology and punishment from Poland, after Michal Kubiak`s shameful words about Iran.
During one of the episodes of polish podecast "prawda siatki" Kubiak insulted Iranians, by calling them a nation of "vile, rude, disgusting people" , that "proudly calls themselves Persians, not Arabs, but really are the same lot"an that "in his eyes the nation of Persians doesn't exist."
Although the episode promotly got deleted, and Kubiak tries to explain himself by saying some of the players from Iran insulted him, for me there's nothing that could excuse those words against an entire nation.
Maybe I could understand it a bit more or react in another way if it was Lemanski, Klos, Bieniek or anyone else from our NT said that.
But Kubiak is one of the biggest a**holes in modern volleyball. Dude keeps trying to provoke opponents in almost every game, but as always makes massive drama when someone pushes back at him, and is just overly narcistic and egoistic. He may be our NT captain, but I have always found him annoying, to say the least.
I would like to apologize to Iranian users of Totallympics

I am going to sound more and more negative, but FIVB has just confirmed the new qualification system for the FIVB World Championship
1) Top 2 of each continental championship qulaify to World Champs
2) Only 24 not yet qualified teams will be able to compete for the 12 remaining spots.
While the first point seems to be a step in the right direction, the second one is ridiculous and basically eliminates all sorts of competition in volleyball, and is very very bad news for countries such as , , and nearly 150 different countries which participated in this edition's qualification tournaments, but may not get any chance to qualify at all if they don't perform well in the continental championship . And. FIVB knows very well that for many poor countries from Africa or the Caribbeans the World Championship qualifiers are the only tournament they can present themselves, many simply can't afford to participate in continental qualification AND Continental Championship AND another qualification tournament (if they get enough ranking points). This is all to make sure the "proper" a.k.a rich teams qualify.
This is yet another step in turning volleyball into a farce. First, they turn World League into a circus no one gives a damn about and top teams send their Z team to compete, knowing well that even if they lose all games 0-3 they won't be relegated, then more and more pathetic Olympic qualification systems, and now this. Not to mention their stupid PPV streaming system
If i was a conspiracy theorist, I'd think that there is someone in the FIVB who just doesn't like how many new NT's appeared in Volleyball recently (Iran, Germany, Slovenia, Belgium, Canada, even France) and just wants volley to stay this sport dominated by Poland, Brazil, Russia, and Italy it used to be a decade ago.
Sometimes I wish I could just switch to another sport

In fact, it's better. Look at last few years with France and Russia wasting energy in this meaningless tournament then underperforming in serious stuff.

I'm not sure if this the right place to post this.
One of the big problems in the UK in the last years is the increase in people insulting and abusing Muslim people in the street.
The one big exception has been the city of Liverpool where this abuse has dropped by more than 50%.
I wonder why?
Sport can do good things sometimes...

The level of competetiveness is unfortunately much lower than at the male World Cup. I think 24 teams are too many, should be 16 at most.
