    Sorry, but there is an international grammatical misunderstanding here. When you say Track cycling, like bob/luge/skeleton/canoeing, should force all athletes to use the same material. That in English, means that bob/luge etc already force uniform materials. So you should say Track cycling and bob/luge…should force a uniform material.

    Must admit, I’ve been following MP since 2000 and in all that time I’ve never twigged just how fatal a bad fencing RR is.

    Not wanting to harp on an old tune, but the men’s madison was way, way higher calibre than the women’s. Really can’t understand why it was so poor.

    Lady Commentator is Heather Fell who got a medal in 2004, I think. She was very sure that all the problems this time were driver error.
