Yeah, Red group is too tough! Kuznetskva is already in the final so we'll know it today. Though I must say it's sad, Konta is already in Singapore taking part on the selfies and all that typical media stuff of a WTA Finals, all this without knowning if she's gonna take part or not...

Yes, I only said that because I'm a big country music fan I know, Portugal's choice was way different (not at all Portuguese traditional like in past TISC) but like I say many times, although I want my song to perform the best possible in the contest, my goal is not to win but to show some unknown Portuguese music to 30 other nations and if only one of you enjoy it then my mission is done :-D

For me the great thing of this contest is to be able to listen to a lot of new music from around the world (i'm still listinening french Jain from this year's annual edition ) and to have fun sharing votes and opinions about those songs. All the additional stuff you might add to it, it will always be a plus! (Though personally I really like it when you organizers put pictures from landscapes or monuments of your own country, it's really a great way to get to know different nations )

We have that here too sometimes (though in a much light version of hooliganism, the only "weapon" they use are petards sometimes) between the 3 main teams (Fc Porto, Benfica and Sporting). The chairman and board members of those teams spent years and years insulting each other and as a result, those "fans" started to get really angry against their rivals and brought violence to the matches on the past 20 years. This happened not only in football matches but to other sports those 3 teams play, ruining those sports (roller hockey, basketball, handball, futsal, non-popular sports that you could go and watch the games peaceful and now it's better to watch it on TV....). I have to say though that in the past 2 years the things got a bit better. The hate still exists (and a lot, we have tv shows where "famous" fans from each of the big teams insult each other for 2 hours.....) but I think nowadays that hate between fans happens on facebook and social media only

Different lucks for portuguese teams: Porto won with a lot of luck (penalty in last minute) against a really weak Club Brugge; Sporting lost, as expected, with Dortmund. The only team that may deserve to go to second phase is probably Benfica (I'm curious about tomorrow match in Kiev), the other two belong to the Europa League....

So, Karate World Championships starts next week in Linz (Austria)! Does anybody know which events are going to take part in Tokyo 2020? I'm assuming one of them will be individual Kata, but for Kumite which weight classes are gonna be "olympic"?

And I keep wondering if USA will ever treat us with American Country music
