  18. Looking at the results, the British team have been pretty solid in Rio. Dean Bale missed out on the 10m Rifle final by 1 point, Sam Gowin was 2 points short of the rapid fire pistol final and James Miller was 2 points short of the 10m pistol final. Will be interesting to see if Gowin can put in a fight for a quota at next month's Europeans.

  25. I'd be surprised if New Zealand got a big boost in the rowing but we won't really know what their form is like until we get to the Lucerne World Cup next month. The big surprise from my perspective, was in track cycling and the women's team pursuit down in silver. Given they've been the only nation that has shown consistent ability to take the challenge to GB, I'd have expected them to be either projected for gold or silver.
